Update on the safe standing for next season following the Groups meeting with Celtic.

Celtic have calmed down a bit since Stranraer and gave agreed to get this back on for the remainder of the season. Books for the remaining 5 games will be sold for £110. The same pro rata as a season book. Obviously it doesn't seem like a lot but this is the only way to get into the safe standing with us next season so we'd highly recommend doing it.

If, and only if, you gave us your details before the deadline posted previously, then your details are with the club and if you phone the ticket office you can buy one of these "half books". If you aren't on that list , you can't buy one. The area has been filled by folk populating this spreadsheet we handed in.

If you applied to us before the deadline with an existing book about a relocation to the safe standing block, these will be going ahead from next week onwards, so no point in phoning TO just now till we confirm this stage is ready.

'We note the comments made today by a number of sources calling for the repeal of the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012.

We have consistently opposed this legislation from the outset as it has been used to create a general presumption that different laws should apply to football supporters as distinct from society as a whole.

We reiterate our position that the Act should be repealed.

We encourage and promote positive behaviour within football at all times and welcome any attempt to do likewise.

However, this Act is unworkable, and once again we call for it to be repealed in the interests of all football supporters and football clubs.'

It is a hideous piece of legislation and football fans the length and breadth of Scotland should be holding the SNP's feet to the fire in an attempt to get it repealed. It would be great to see some sort of mass protest outside the Scottish Parliament with fans of all teams in attendance. It would probably be very difficult to organise something like that though.

The people want it repealed so should that not be enough for the * running the country to get it done. Is that not what democracy is meant to be?

Totally agree. Holding a protest with fans from different clubs outside the Scottish parliament would be a great idea. My mind just boggles everytime I think of this insane police state type of legislation.
