somebody should have asked the polis if they know what human rights are and asked if polis have to study or pass any exams on the subject....

and next time will somebody please ask them if they believe that uniforms or badges grant them any extra rights... because they sure act like they do

The kettling incident a few years on the Gallowgate that was widely filmed was a clear breach of civil rights of the fans, how the Polis got out of that one shows you how strong the SNP have made Scotland practically a Police State when the situation suits, this is not just confined to football either.

Thanks for the minutes of the meeting Crow, quite interesting. I didn't know these meetings were taking place so its good to see that the club, supporters and Police are talking to each other.

Crow, see the Police that attended the meeting, do you if they were senior/high up polis or were they just run of the mill coppers.

That meeting seemed to be a whole lot of backslapping and not much progress if I'm honest.

Apart from the polis admitting they got it wrong at Hamilton.

I would say that is about the sum of it.

Not a great deal there and doesnt really address why normal punters are being harrassed just because they are going to a football game, they certainly dont take the same approach to neds and junkies on Scotrail who visibly flaunt the law in an aggressive way as they know they wont be touched.

Having watched Celtic abroad a good few times and seeing heavy handed policing on our fans I used to be glad our police weren't as bad as a lot of countries, but sadly that's the way we are heading.

Kevin goes on to raise the issue of bus searches and the current legislation relating to two hours before a match. Mr Bates highlights that the legislation relates to travelling to a sporting event and that the two hour rule does not apply when it is clear that a group of supporters travelling on a coach are making their way to an event irrespective of the start time.

Can anyone tell me what's this two hour rule?
And anyone know what the 7 hours later airport incident was?
