Said this on the night. There will be police in there on Saturday when Hamilton visit looking for kids underage drinking, or picking on individual kids for singing songs and just generally hassling folk but that they had no presence about on Thursday is ridiculous. They did know they planned trouble as they said as much on Wednesday.

Something not right here. A very large group of men loudly going through the streets, which must of been picked up on CCTV by the cops (because there are cameras everywhere these days).

If for one moment they thought it was Celtic fans, they would have been on that spot in minutes to break up the group and move them on.

But no, they knew exactly who was in the large group and what their intentions were, and let it happen.

There is something really suspect about the lack of police.

Every home game there is a presence on the GG never mind a big European night.

    Really * strange.

Maybe they took a leaf out of the dutch polices book and went undercover as Ajax hooligans. So the police were there all along protecting the orange from the * hordes

There were plenty of police down at Glasgow Cross - vanloads opposite the Tolbooth with polis hanging about doing nothing and across the way, police kettling the CSC in The Crystal Bell.

I don't doubt that the lack of police up the Gallowgate was entirely deliberate and added to the handling of the incident the night of the Wolfetones concert, I think what we are seeing is the start of moves to speed up the gentrification of the Gallowgate.

The police should have their heads kicked in every time they turn up and they should be told why.

They are a bunch of corrupt masonic * who should be lynched from the shitpit roof.

I don't condone violence but they should have let them out the pub. The Ajax scum wouldn't have got in the pub with the amount of people inside it. Imagine your son or nephew going out for a *. Looking outside and seeing that and getting told your not getting out to help them.

If it'd been any of my family or folks outside there's no bouncer in the world would've kept me inside, and I think that's true of most peope here. They're * lucky they didn't cause a riot inside with that decision.

Surely if your trying to stop the pub getting battered, then would you no be better letting a full pub load out to chase them up the road?

And it's too late to start * it and locking the door's when your owner and some unlucky stragglers are well in the thick of it and under pressure, is it no?

I know it's a split second decision but that * me off watching that.....it was the wrong decision..

Must say from the footage it certainly appears the lads outside gave as good as they got. Feels slightly daft to say it considering folk were seriously injured there but it was heartening to see that the lads outside put up a good fight.
