The other groups gave up or moved into 111 when the GB got that section as far as I know.

Style mile vandals. A name the media gave the group after they stickered Buchanan St. Beyond belief one Saturday evening.

They were there again today and were quite good, made a fair bit of noise at certain points.

Agree about the flags, far too much political * these days that has * all to do with the club that bores me rigid to be honest, it's all getting a bit like the Huns reactionary waving of Israel flags "just for the sake of it" for my liking.

I don't mind the fans making statements as long as they are in the spirit of solidarity and inclusiveness and I've never seen a flag or banner that hasn't been. I don't like the idea of being fined but freedom of expression should be allowed as long as it causes no harm or offence.

Well just for starters the banner a few games ago about the Malmo performance (which I agreed with by the way) certainly wasn't "inclusive" judging by the amount of folk who booed it and become aggressive towards it.

Heaps of folk around me booed and got * off when that William Wallace Milan game banner was unveiled, I could go on but won't labour the point.

No idea what you mean by solidarity or inclusiveness, 45k people go to watch a football game and a tiny minority who go in one corner are not and never will be the judge and jury over what Celtic fans in general think, not for one minute they have ever suggested they are I would add.

I know lots of older fans in particular who view some of the GBs political gestures as a joke and other than the noise they bring don't really respect them or view them as representative of their views or beliefs.

No different over in Govan, I know many zombies who were YES voters and certAinly were not represented by some of the pro UK, royalty, NO type rhetoric on display at their games.

Getimg back to the original point, anything connected with Irish republicanism is clearly relevant considering the clubs history and fans demographics (myself included as I'm of Irish decent) and has been a historical part of our supoport, but bringing eg Kurd flags is not really "inclusive" and only runs the risk of antagonising a small percentage of supporters for no good reason.

The GB could do with a bit of backing from the rest of the support. The boys are trying to generate an atmosphere and spur the team on yet most of our fans seem content to let them get on with it and sit silently, until somebody makes a balls up then they are up and screaming at our own players. The famed European atmosphere is a thing of the past and even when we are playing well you can mostly just hear the GB belting it out. It's time the rest of the fans help the guys out and try to bring back "the thunder" and hopefully cheer the team onto greater things.
