Yea I signed a petition outside for it probably best waiting till Europe, great day though loved every minute of it the huddle is unreal when your actual there the telly doesn't do it justice

Well we have had enough fines and we don't need anymore bad publicity either so they can support the team but not harm us like the have done repeatedly in the past but the GB do far more good than bad but we as a club don't need the grief from UEFA

 

Yea I'd rather not get fines but I couldn't really care about what UEFA say, to me there a morally bankrupt facist organisation who only look out for the rich teams couldn't care much for publicity either people will always love us or hate us for who we are anyways

 

Yes you are correct about UEFA but then when it comes to our name getting dragged through the papers and the fines then no I want our fans to support the team and sing the correct songs not ones that get us fines and a bad reputation.

 

Fair enough. I really couldn't care less though. Each to their own.

 

Lawwell is just looking for an excuse to shut section 111 again and if we keep getting fines then that's what will happen, we all have our own opinion on it but they are excellent contributors to Celtic park just a small element like every club who sometimes not all the time take it too far.

 

I totally understand people's viewpoints over getting fined over are songbook ( something I'll always support the right to sing regardless) but the fine for the Palestinian flags was an absolute farce I don't think anybody could be annoyed with the GB over that one Celtic should of taken UEFA to court IMO

 

I'll never understand why some people need laws, organisations or other people to tell them what's right and what's wrong.

The government doesn't want us singing Irish rebel songs because of the inconvenient truths they expose and because they generally don't like anyone who has views that lie outwith a very limited spectrum of acceptable opinion.

UEFA fined us for flying Palestinian flags during Operation Protective Edge. It's morally bankrupt.

As for our reputation, I'd rather the admiration of a few who respect us for what we are than the admiration of many who respect us for something we're not.

If you know something isn't immoral but you don't do it anyway because someone told you not to, you're a doormat.

No roll of honoyr in the ground but if you went to gallowgatr or failte post match, it was belted and am sure all over glasgow in different pubs and csc it would have been. Also a republican flute band in turnstyles bar pre match played it. So am sick of hearing it now haha.

Was pleased with the irish songs saturday in the stadium. Fields, soldier laddie, celtic symphony, let the people sing, lonesome boatman, boulavogue, on the one road, soldiers song, this land. Met loads of irish fans all weekend and was great to see the different irish CSC banners and all the tri colours on show.

Were you in the hoops bar saturday by any chance?
