GB topic of today's 'Off the Ball'. Do they only turn up on big games? Are they part time supporters?

No video here but they did, throwing us their scarfs etc too. Small amount of them waited but a nice gesture all the same.

It started in the stadium after the game, we were held in and singing and there was still a lot probably 2,000 or so of them still waiting to get out when we sung YNWA and after it almost all them left were applauding and then the songs continued and the huddle etc and a few hundred of their fans stayed in to applaud the fans. I noticed a lot of them were the prawn sandwich suit wearing brigade who were standing just watching us about 20 minutes after the game finished.

Then as we went out the stadium walking up to get out the gates a wee congregation of maybe about 100-200 Inter fans were standing over the other side of the barriers(this was probably about 40-45 minutes after the final whistle) applauding us as the polis were in between although I seen a wee scuffle there where a young tim and young inter fan jumped over the fences and were swinging punches at each other but the polis just pulled them apart put them back over the fences and told them to go away with their pals, dont know what happened there maybe the inter fan flung something or spat over at him.

I got on one of the buses too and as it took us to the metro we passed a lot of Inter fans along the road giving us the thumbs up etc

Probably one of the best supports they've seen there if not best.

I wonder if they would have been applauding us and giving the thumbs up if we'd knocked them out? It's easy to pat the losing support on the head and send them off with a friendly smile.

In other news, apparently there has been some "unsavoury" behaviour from a few lads whilst riding the rails!

I'm sure that Constable John will not rest until the perpetrators of this vile crime are safely behind bars!
