The lateral movement was a sledge hammer introduced by the police to crack a nut . I don't think it could stand up to the full rigours of a defence team in court as most people have to use lateral movement to get to their seats .
The police love to pretend they have concerns over the safety of Celtic fans .

I went to quote your post and it changed while the page was loading. It was funny for me at the time, sort of like you were telling me to nevermind making the post I had intended to make.

 

Sure you did, modern stadiums are designed in a way that even in the wildest celebrations you never move out of your row .

 

I think the problem with lateral movement was the Stewards getting bumped about. As it wasnt just side to side, it was bouncing along a few meters and crossing the stairs where the Stewards were standing and probably knocking them about.

If you were a Steward just trying to stand there and do a job you'd have been raging, it was probably them who were complaining to whatever the security company employing them is who in turn would have been complaining to Celtic.

As I noticed when the GB got their first ban over that, and then were eventually allowed back they never crossed the stairs again while doing lateral movement.

It was completely who it was intended for, not you in the slightest mucker. Hence why I've seen the movie so many times I can't be arsed writing another review.

 

I know Frank very well thanks. He doesn't read my posts out at Christmas but he sure does at every other Sunday Mass.

Why do they have to sit/stand on the stairs all the way up in some sections anyway? It's not like that in Europe where it's for more lively on the terraces.. A season swap of galatasaray fans at Celtic park would have punters doing 7 years a piece..

They should just plot at the bottom of each stair case looking up..

It's alright when it's the huddle because it looks good but a step to the side (nick em)..

The question now is for how long. There return though shows that Pete can be ........(I cant come up with the right word not influenced as I dont think his opinion has changed) by fan power.
