Then why is a minutes silence not carried out every week. There are many people die Worldwide every day in life. Why are they not remembered, but Nelson Mandela was?

its all about being politically correct these days. The difference is that Mandela was saw a saint in the end (even though he was recognized as a terrorist from the us in the 80's)

also the IRA are saw as a terrorist organization in the public mind. they don't recognize them as Irish soldiers, they see them as terrorist. Just the same in England where if someone or a group are seen praising the Taliban, they will get locked up/investigated.

and I agree that the act is retarded but the way people see it in a politically correct world, Celtic fans support a terrorist organization and if we keep singing songs about them, were getting our doors kicked in.
