Good point. Our board seem quite hypocritical playing songs like Let The People Sing and using the Green Brigade's slogans and displays to make money.

I am sure if the GB and fellow supporters offered to pay for oxygen tanks or even a corporate box for those having respiratory problems the club would soon find another reason to ask fans not to use smoke etc

or can we as supporters hire these company's who seem to be allowed to use smoke and pyro in our stadiums ?

sooner we get a jungle type standing area back at Paradise the better... i don't remember the polis pulling many people out of the jungle - and i have never witnessed the polis entering the jungle mob handed..

next we will have people with a grass allergy telling the club to get an artificial pitch so they can go to the game without any health risk

Scottish fitba is on it's * and the clubs don't seem to give a * about what the MAJORITY (not the few with health concerns) of fans want at stadiums... and that includes beer

fans treated like a bunch of kids by the authorities and grown men let them get away with it. Can't even have a smoke in the pub! who the * votes these governmental bureaucratic * into office :97:

    rant over :celt_2:

Super moderator AND qualified medical health expert :50:

i think it has more to do with the 'type' of smoke. The flares used by fans are intended for emergency use and signaling distress etc ... they are not manufactured with inhalation in mind.

BUT - there are plenty of other types of special effects ie dry ice , which could be looked into if the board were willing to allow them. I think the board are intent on 'nipping this problem in the bud'

if CFC were seriously concerned for the health of our fans then they would have banned the great unwashed from across the city

Not really. I dont think socialism or republican politics is silly. I think grown adults starting little gangs at a game of football with mission statements, balaclavas, misspelled banners, etc, are silly. I think breaking seats and setting them on fire, taking pictures for your website, then moaning about increased policing is silly.

Whether they are socialists or not makes no difference to me.

Think that there is a difference when the pyrotechnics are being done professionally, opposed to someone throwing/holding a flare in a packed area!

Anyone know the new song that's being sung, the group have sung it the past couple of games when the team have done their lap of honour, can't find any videos of it but it's quite catchy, would be great to get the whole stadium singing it.
EDIT: From about 6:00 on here:
