    The people of Palestine are victims of Imperialism just like the people of the occupied territory in the north of Ireland. The spirit of freedom burns equally brightly amongst both sets of people, and both are continuing their fight against subjugation and oppression (see recent Palestinian hunger strike). So in a sense it would be weird for the Celtic fans to support the cause of Irish Republicanism without showing solidarity with the similar struggle that the people of Palestine are involved in.
