Not at all, I just said the idea of it would be great, better atmosphere at the games. You don't have to move you know, you could keep your seat and contribute to the atmosphere, which would probably mean you'd enjoy the game more.

I do contribute to the singing as do many others in the surrounding areas of the GB section but as i said in an earlier post i do this whilst remaining seated.

I doubt it will happen anyway but it would be great if the section was expanded. And if that were to happen at the expense of folk who sit in those areas but don't want to participate in an extended section then so be it, it's for the greater good and there's plenty of other seats around the stadium.

How do Celtic know who participates and who doesn't participate in the singing in section 110 111 and 112

Take myself and my family who sit in 110 and do contribute to the atmosphere but my mate who sits besides us very rarely sings should he move away from myself for the crime that is not singing.

In the hypothetical situation of an enlarged section, the guys who sit in the section(s) which would make up the enlarged new section of the GB would get first dibs on the seats as you would expect.

If you wanted to be in the section then there would be no problem. If you didn't then you would get relocated. Simples.
How will we sell more season tickets if this is implemented ?
Since the GB have started up the number of season tickets have decreased although us having less season ticket holders now has nothing to do with the GB

The only way we will get more season tickets sold is if we have a better team on the park.

There are to many fans of all clubs who will only support there team when they are doing well and playing good football.
Not 100 per cent sure if more season tickets would get sold on the strength of this but it might. I have taken people to matches who do not have a season ticket( I have 2 ticks and one is usually spare) and those that have come have been pretty positive about coming back to CP. They really liked the atmosphere that the GB have been bringing, along with the other fans that are now joining in with the community singing.
Certainly, the quality on the park is not great but this has also been the case in the past. We have not always been a joy to watch!

The GB have their core amount of members and expanding the section would be expanding a singing section not the GB membership. I'm sure around 75% of the people singing in that section aren't GB members anyway but have become an extension of them.

I'm all for it, can you imagine in the fullness of time, 110 and 112 joining 111 and that whole curve being full of tims that just want to lose the heid for 90 minutes and have a laugh and a song? Magic.

That seems fair enough to me but what if everyone already in the section says that they want to remain in the section ?

Then there would be absolutely no problems whatsoever.

The sections would then remain the same as they are now and the GB do not want this, they want a section of like minded supporters

My last reply was made under the assumption that those who wanted to remain in such a section would be wanting to go along with all which it entails which is basically standing & singing for 90 minutes and helping make sure any display which is planned does indeed go to plan.

Otherwise why would you want to remain in the section? After all any ST holder should know what the GB section is all about by now.

Thats another fair point but if everyone in the section keeps there season ticket then there will be no change in the surrounding areas of the current GB section.

Good video mate but the GB themselves have not grown that much as they only have about 100 members due to them being very selective in who can be come a member.
I am sure that they would have 1000s of members by now if they were not so selective

In terms of 'Ultras Celtic' and the displays they do they've grown huge especially influence on the support.

GB could expand more but at the end of the day it's up to them how things develop.

Having 000's of members isn't practical at all I don't think.

They've grown enormously.

I don't see the problem with the section expanding. At the end of the day, they have no control over the people who sit in 111. That just happens to be where the group are allocated. 111 is always full because people want to sit there because of the atmosphere. If the section expands to include 110 and 112, the people who already sit there won't have to move, it'll just mean that those tickets are more sought after, hence more people will want to relocate there. The result is those three sections will be completely full with almost everyone sitting there singing, jumping and making atmosphere.

Aye, would be just basically 1000's of hangers on who dont do anything but say "im in the green brigade". I think they are fine as they are.
