anyone got old pics of inside celtic park , in the crowds?

would make quite interesting?

 

i posted a video think its in the 70's there also ones i think from the 50s onwards

* i remember the ground when it was like that, that is actully the rangers end where the pic is took. My das mates used to live just out the back of the celtic end facing this pic

 

Wish the stadium was still like that tbh. I prefer the old fashioned terraces compared to more modern stadiums nowadays.

Sat in the seated area and stood behind the goal at the far end of the picture. Would prefer standing again if we had the choice, much better as you can get groups of people together , instead of travelling on the bus and then being seperated at the match. At least when you stood you had like minded people who weren`t worried about singing without offending others.

 

Me too mate. I'd happily go back to the days of the terraces.

 

Same heer , i honestly hate the seating stadiums now as its killed the atmospheres

 

Instead of moaning about the atmosphere we should really try and think of something to encourage a better one,lets put our heads together and really make something happen???

 

I stood in the jungle, then moved to the Celtic end when they put seats in the jungle.

Bus to the game, bottle of cider, pay at the gate, bus home, bag of chips.

not old enough to remember this stadium, but * i wish it was still like that, with the terracing, how many people would be crammed in there on derby day?

1.46 Greatest YNWA ever. That was the game we won the league against Dundee in the centenary year. There were probably 70 to 80 thousand inside the ground that day if not more.

 

A goal v the huns on derby day when you were stood in the jungle is something that you can really never explain, I feel sorry for so many people that will never experience it.

i miss that old stadium! at least there was atmosphere evertime we played there.aw miss the jungle too
