"We are all Neil Lennon"......remember, it was admittedly a couple of weeks back....but I expected the "something inside so strong" to last a little longer...Lennon has not let us down, Lennon has stood by the team, the club and the fans when many a lesser man would have run for the hills....I know that I stand behind him, and to those that maybe have a wee doubt, I urgue you to hold it in and standup beside Lennon for the campaign ahead.

When you check the date of the original post, it was added to the site just after the 2-2 draw with those ict feckers, which followed the 1-1 draw with D utd, so the OP was very probably in a state of depression and giving it the old over reaction after 2 draws on the bounce!

I think we can all see that Lenny has proven everyone wrong.

This was his first full season as a manager, our team was very much in a period of transition - with all the personnel changes, not to mention all the off field crap from the hfa, huns, wee huns, psychos with 'how to make bomb' manuals, etc, etc.

For me Lenny and his backroom team have been immense.

They took the league to the final day of the season and 2 cup finals.

And without being bitter about things, just pointing out the obvious, if we had honest referees in this country we would have won a league & cup double at least!

Onwards & upwards to better things with Lenny & co at the helm.

    In Lennon we trust!

    Hail Hail

Aye we were a Hamilton 2 yard offside goal away from winning the league :54:

Amongst other things - for me, the refs were the worst in living memory.

Next season has to be better!

If not, we must call their integrity into question and take action. Whether that's refusing to fulfil fixtures, players & management team leaving the field of play during game time or something equal in terms of the scale of our actions.

    United we stand!

To be fair this was a thread from november when we were doing pretty bad. In his defence in the end while all the improvements have been made he was right about one thing we did eventually lose the league and you can apply all these variables about hamilton offside goal etc... he was right and you can't deny that fact.

However Lennon has displayed to me enough last season that he will learn from his mistakes, showed us his ability in the transfer market with two or three gems and i fully believe the title will be coming home next season if we keep improving like we have done.

We've managed to come so far since this thread was created and concerns were voiced (rightly so with four rookies at the helm) and I faith have that Lennon will claim his first title this upcoming season. Stopping 4IAR will be Lennon's finest managerial moment come the end of the season.

I couldn't understand any Celtic supporter that wouldn't be willing to give Lennon this upcoming season, at the very least. He's turned the club around while dealing with unacceptable problems.

    There's only one Neil Lennon.

If we dont win the league next season then I think he has to go, or maybe take a step back and become a coach again with a more experienced manager in charge. Just because it's Lennon doesn't mean we can overlook 2 poor seasons. However let's hope we win the league next year and we don't have to think about this.

    I'm not picky.
I think since this thread was started last November, Lennon, Parker, Thompson & Mjallby have done an excellent job within such a short space of time. Yeh we never got the league this year, but look at the other positives. Got to two cup finals (winning one of them), only JUST lost out on the league, brought a new group of players together and has got them playing & gelling well together, bringing confidence back into a team and bringing the thunder back to Paradise, and most of all coming through the amount of * he's had to put up with this year from the SFA crap to the death threats and not backing down to any of them.

He will be under pressure to bring the league title back next season but the way the team is going I don't see why they shouldn't be able to achieve this. They got their first taste of success by winning the Scottish Cup and I think that will spur them on to next season by taking the title back.

Lennon and the staff have the passion and I think this could be a good time for us.

Scotty Bhoy, I totally admire your passion for the Hoops, and hopefully punters on here don't try to slate you, for simply stating your genuine concerns. Although my opinion on Lenny and the backroom staff, differs from yours mate, like I say you are entitled to your opinion. We are all entitled to our own opinions, and you have expressed yours, you haven't slated Lenny, you haven't slagged him off, but no doubt, some on here will have a go at you. You made your points constructively, but please mate think about it this way. Think of the mess Lenny inherited, moral was as low as *, big Tony brought in some crap players, Lenny had to scrimp and scrape to bring in what players he could with virtually no dosh. To the Board, in all fairness, they weren't completely convinced right at the outset of Lenny's appointment as interim manager of his abilities. Now, if we look at Lenny's achievements over the last season, I think he totally deserves the backing of our Club, and it's fans, we only lost the league by one point, we got beat in the League cup final, ok, but we still got there, we won the Scottish cup. Please, lets all remember though, this was Lenny's first full season in football management, and yes, mistakes were there to be made. Wattie the waistcoat, with all his lengthy experience in management, made big mistakes too. Now that Lenny, has this first season under his belt, and a more settled, and confident squad playing for him, and the chance to improve his squad during this transfer window, I am convinced we have the right man (Lenny) to lead us back to being the major force, once again, in Scottish football. Lets face it, our team were playing football, the Glasgow Celtic way. Lenny, has too much love, and too much respect, for both Celtic F.C. and it's supporters, to manage our Club under false pretences, he himself would do the honourable thing, without us having to tell him, if he wasn't up to being a positive manager for us. So Scotty, keep the faith mate, and stick with us, under the leadership of Neil Lennon, and give both him, and our team, the backing that will once again drive us to dominate Scottish football for many years to come. Your passion, and support, stands out a mile Scotty, so discard those concerns, and join us hand in hand :50:

Sorry mate, i disagree with you and those who support your arguement. I agree with the fact that he is a rookie and so are the backroom staff, however he has guided celtic to an astonishing 92 points!! we may have * up against ICT but that wasn't the manager's fault that was the lack of commitment from the boys that night. He has signed players in the shape of; izzaguirre, kayal, hooper, commons. Brilliant players. He has had bombs threats this year and his life has genuinely been in danger but he still manages to keep it together. Fucksake guys show a bit of confidence, its only his first season. Rant over. :38:

I agree that it would be great to have Lenny with more experience but he is a Celtic man and learned from a few very good managers who trusted him and the boardroom even decided that he has what it takes to coach at Celtic park. So even though he has brought in Izzy, Kayal, Hooper and commons who have been nothin short of exceptional he is * is he? He managed to bring us back off the brink. A team that had been ripped apart and couldnt gel an increaingly empty stadium and look at what he has sone in one year. The board trust him, he trusts the coaches and i trust them to do what is best and thats put us back on the map. This is been the best time for being a Celtic fan sine the Uefa final and the days of Matin O'neil.

The original post was at a time when nothing but football was on the agenda and we were poor and our management team were making a lot of suspect decisions, but recall folks i never ever slated lenny, in fact i stated that i love the guy, and believe me i am delighted what we achieved after the post, especially in the aftermath of what the man suffered, he showed to me how much inner strengh he has, he showed me he has an eye for a player, i doth my cap to you Neil Lennon you have brought pride back to our club, i eat humble pie for my earlier post and like most fans, i believe in you to take us forward and upwards,
    IN LENNON WE TRUST
