As much as i hate to say it lenny really doesnt know how to change a game he just seems clueless when teams start putting the pressure on and scoring. VERY worrying !

i think the board have been fair ! we cant spend money we dont have. the money we do have has to be spent well though. lennon made 11 signings in the summer but most of them for me arent good enough. we have a huge squad and for me that isnt needed in the spl. we should have trimmed the squad but made sure the signings we made were of a bit of quality. i think we have a near 30 man 1st team squad and for me thats far too many.

I don't understand this. Lennon has less experience than Strachan, Mowbray had when he joined. Yes, he had no experience. But, already he's put together the most attractive side to watch in years. Just, because you are old and experienced doesn't mean it will work out. Look at Houllier at Villa at the moment. So come on, he deserves a chance and he has taken that chance.

But answer me this, who would take the job? We seem to forget that nobody wanted it and that's why Lennon stepped in. Coyle turned us down, Moyes straight up refused and Bilic was too interested in his national team.

Cant actually believe that I am reading this...
Lets look at some of the facts here.

Lennon inherited probably the worst squad of players in the last decade. The stadium was have empty and there was a permanent cloud over CP because we were on the decline. Now season books were not selling, we had no CL football and Lennon was a rookie manager so obviously the board was not going to spend massive.

Now Lennon has essentially transformed the squad whilst turning over a £6m profit. Signed some of the most exciting players seen at Celtic park since M'ON (who inherited some very good players remember). We finished one point behind Rangers who (say what you like about them are a solid team with a manager who record speaks for itself in Scottish Football) with a points total that is greater than our last 3 SPL titles. We one the Scottish Cup.

Of course we * up against ICT and its a gutter to lose the title but sometimes you need to take a step back and say well done to Rangers. Finishing with 92 points is a tremendous campaign for an experienced team and manager who have been playing together for years.

IMO though finishing on 91 points with a manager in his first season with a squad thrown together from all over the world is an even better achievement, considering what Lennon inherited.

Folk need to wake up here - I would fancy our current team (with the addition of maybe 2/3 quality players which we will sign this summer) to walk down south and give any team outside of the top 6 a turning over.

Exciting players coming from all over the world.
Young players getting a crack at the first team.
Best atmosphere at Paradise for years.
Management team who love the club and united the fans.

* me man. Neil Lennon is EXACTLY the man I want to see at Celtic Park.

Lennon has worked wonders for the club since he took over. He's got the place rocking again, Unearthed some real gems, got us playing quality football, was so close to bringing the league home, we won the Scottish cup need I go on more...

The 'rookie' has reshaped the club from top to bottom, and done one * of a job.

the "rookie" you speak of made two possible three of the best singnings this season,a young managerial set up is a good this,they have a much better
relationship with the players and i'm sure if any of the players treated lenny as a "boy" they'd know all about it .

 

Oh my * sorry mate i know the scottish cup wasnt our number 1 aim for the season BUT both cup finals and last day for the league in his first season with our youngest team in years and if they can stay together we can rule for years . we all feel the pain of losing anything to rangers especially the league but we regroup and come back stronger next year and if your honest the signs are there that it can happen unlike when he took over so lets get real
