The thing is though, Lennon wasn't given the job based on a guess that he might be good in the future. He was given the job based on his good performance during the end of last season. It's not as if the club is in a crisis. Three home draws in a row is bad for Celtic but it's not something we can't recover from. I still believe we'll win the league.

What good is being passionate if you are not qualified for the job ? I am
a very passionate Celtic fan but that does not make me a good candidate to be manager of such a big club like Celtic.Lennon seens to have inherited all the bad traits of his mentor Strachan. He has his favourites to the exclusion of better players in the squad, just like Strachan did.. He is as stubborn as a mule, even when it is plain as a pikestaff that it is just not working, just like Strachan. " The definition of insanity is to keep on doing the same thing over and over, expecting to get a different result the next time ". That is Lennon with his obsession of playing Ledley and Ki in a two man central midfield that regularly gets swamped by opposing mid table opponents.
Lennon is vindictive just like Strachan, get in his bad books just once and you are screwed. Ask Juarez why he is not playing for Lennon now ?

the reality is, we're only 2 points behind the huns, they have a game in hand , but dundee united away is no gimme,

we also have to play the huns 3 more times.

it's not an end of the world situation. or even a sacking situation at all. looking more into it

Of course it does....spending your hard earned cash to support the team and the cause!

Doesn't make you better than a supporter who cannot afford to go however!

Paddy you say looking more into it ????

I think some of us have - the last 2 months have shown us to be a very Average team. Can you now imagine the pressure on this team having to go to ibrox and win something we have NOT managed this season when it`s been most needed.

Gutless v Rangers & Hearts. Shambles v Dundee Utd & ICT and now tonight against Kilmarnock who managed ONE shot the whole game. The Team is Leaderless,No Fight.

Thats my point...ta. There was an insinuation that only those who "were stupid enough" to go to CP were loyal fans.

surely your statement bold could apply for sacking managers and bringing them in every * year.

so you complain about him swapping about the team, then you complain about him keeping the same 2 midfielders and that they should be swapped about.

I agree totally, but football isn't any other walk of life, never has been.

Some of the greatest managers that ever lived showed no proof of being great managers until they were given the chance.

I'm not saying Lenny will come into that category as one of the greatest, but at least give him the chance to be decent.

If he fails, then it won't be for the lack of trying, but we can't make him walk the plank after half a season in charge.

We moan at Celtic fans for making life difficult for WGS, and maybe it's a case that we were in some way responsible for his departure. Maybe it's time we got behind managers and took off some of the pressure we're piling onto their shoulders.

They are at the top of the ladder as far as representing our club goes, but if we shake it enough then their attention goes and they fall.

Get behind Lennon, and give the man a chance to put things right.

look at man united, they've had like 5 or 6 draws this season, poor string of ressults, yet they're top of the epl. so my point is, we can go on a string of good results, beat the huns on the 2nd january, and all the lads calling for lennon's head, will change their mind and will be calling for contract extensions.

some are easily swayed, and can change yer mind at any time.

i fully support lennon atm, and i will continue in doing this until he proves to be absolutely hopeless

You described the fans turning up to watch Celtic tonight, including yourself as "* idiots", so what is it then? Loyal or not?

Not a supporter in my eyes or definition, to support them means putting money into the club not from the comfort of your nice warm fire and watching on TV or PC, you maybe a fan but not supporter, if I ever gave up my season then I would class myself as a fan but not a supporter
