I don't think he should go. But if we drop anymore points before Christmas it will be difficult for him to stay in the job

Threads like this get on my balls big time, support the team and the manager through thick and thin, it might not always be nice and we all may vent our frustration but the last thing I want to see is our manager punted, I have faith in Lenny, mind you it's wearing thin, but none the less when the chips are down we need to get behind him.

OK, in that case answer the question.

Who could we possible get in - in November - who would fulfil these criteria?

No use saying get the manager out if you can't replace him with anyone better.

I said players missed chances today and the defence * up...yes or no is that true ?

And as someone has already said,we have 3 players out who may make a big difference to Lennons first picks.

The same people will tell you we're good enough to win the Champions League when we win a game. There is no sense of perspective at all on the tinterwebz.

Lose or Draw - 'aw we're pure * man get the manager tae *'

Win - 'Helfy sir, we ur defo gonnae hump the huns nxt time we play them'

We all know Lenny was the cheap option by the board and it would placate the fans , I really hope Lenny is a sucess in the job at CP but we should be turning our anger at the board not Lenny . We all thought the biscuit tin was gone at CP but its certainly alivr and well at the moment .

I think we should bide our time with the coach for a bit longer. Be honest though,Celtic XI vs Rangers XI. There is only going be one winner there and that is the huns. Lennon vs Smith. Smith everytime. I'm sorry but we just ain't got it. Give Lennon another 3-4 years and we'll be competing again for the title.

they also gave lennon the job cause he is there yes man aswell lets not forget that

lennon came out and said he was getting all the mcgeady money.... he did not even get one penny of it...... and he said nothing, thats a yes man for you

it was lennon who did not spend more money on the defence not the board.....

again lets see if they give him money iin the jan window if not we can start to have a go at them

Look lets get back to reality. Rangers started the season with a strong back five, a settled squad that had played together for 3 years, and manager who is very good at grinding out results.
When NL, took over we were out of the league and he brought the deficit down to 6 points.
This year is about rebuilding a team from scratch. It is unlikely, that a novice manager will win the league in his first year, however, if the board sanction a couple of key signings in the following positions, we might just * it. Bring in Given as Goalkeeper, a solid, experienced and quick central defender, and lets get Keane back as well.

we don't have the cash for O'Neil's style of management. He's an excellent manager but he * money away left, right, and center.

guess you weren't there when we won an OF game last season? and don't give me the "it didn't matter line," because it matters to them as much as it matters to us. So you can ask yourself, do you think Celtic would * away an OF contest even if the league was won?

give him to the window anyway.

My impression of Neill is he has been decent in the transfer market but is clueless and naive tactically. The Celtic job came WAY TOO EARLY in his managerial career

If only the board would stump up the cash for all this, but I don't see it. My prediction for Jan is that we'll be lucky if the board give 2-3 million to spend.

what a stupid reaction of a thred! whos going to want to replace lenno if we get rid of another "celtic man" that quicly after mowbray... we treated stachan like * then mowbray was * then now we aparantly want lennon out! u would have to be mad to come t manage celtic with our money funds and the way we react. yes the results are not gud enugh but getting rid of the manager is the las thing we should do. maybe try sticking with the set up until the end of the season and see whats what!

yeah i would be very happy to see him go now , he is making far too many mistakes and can not even set the team up to do the most simple * task , all this the team needs time to gel pish is bollocks ,
Either he goes or he needs that older wiser head above him as he is not good enough and far too many school boy mistakes being made , Celtic is far too big a club to be cutting your teeth as a manager ,

January might be too late. If Rangers win tomorrow we will be five points behind and we still have to go to Ibrox with this self same team, which has only picked up five points out of a possible 15. Well beat by Rangers and Hearts. Two consecutive draws at home, and two last minute wins is all beginning to look very Tony Mowbraysque. Two man lightweight midfield, and overly attacking minded set up, and when we get set backs, Lennon and his crew look like rabbits caught in the headlights.I have seen enough already. Get a new man in now and he would have a decent chance of salvaging this league.
