    Agree , Real defence has been shocking for ages , they need a Vidic , or Terry type defender they * enough cash on strikers etc do not understand why they do not pay top dollar on another top centre back ,pepe is * .

    It's also the way he played. Italian fans don't care if their team plays negative football, it's kind of their culture even, but Real fans won't accept that. They've tried to be attacking here and have just ben killed for it, kind of like Arsenal last year. It's the fact that he's had to change his tactics to suit Real and it just doesn't work against Barca.

    It is a difference of cultures Inter practically invented defensive football.

    I disagree about a Vidic or a Terri what they need is Ricardo Carvalho of five years ago. Not so much need for a bruiser in La Liga.

    I said against the elite. Not big games like his game against Porto; I mean against teams like Barcelona, Milan when they were at there best.

    He has other talents than just that though. He was very fast in his younger days and good at reading the game.

    Plus he is Barca through and through brings more to the team than his talent.

    Bruisers get along just fine I just don't think a Vidic would make a difference in this match.

    Ferdinand at his best would though.

    actually it also depends how long a manager s worked in a club
    i hardly believe it's too easy to win the championship if you take over the club at the begining of the season and need a little time to form the new team to make them competitive enough to beat everybody without fall during the season
