    It's not embarassing at all.

    If our club's heritage was not Catholic and Irish then all these "honest mistakes" over the decaded would, quite simply, have not happened.

    This is a bad idea. I can very easily see them awarding the three points to whoever we play against and say that we forfeited. I don't know what the rules are if a club refuses to participate in a match in the SPL, but this wouldn't surprise me.

    At no point did I make any mention of any apology or remorse coming from Celtic, we should be continuing to hammer them and I think John Reid will continue to do that. You're * deluded if you think he'll just come out and say "sorry we were slagging you off earlier, can you please come back and ref our games and even when Rangers keep McCulloch on the pitch and get 2 pens at Ibrox, we will put it down to honest mistakes."

    i agree with pulling out of the scottish cup, league cup would maybe be pointless as it isnt ran by the SFA.

    Well where do we go from here mate? The refs aren't going on strike because of any other club but Celtic, it's personal. We should at least make some sort of threat if the refs don't turn up for next weeks games. The refs will want some sort of apology or promises from Celtic before they return, well in my opinion turn it right * back round at them!

    I know we need to do something but "if you're going to strike to prove a point, then I'm going to strike to prove a point too" is just playground like. There has to be a better way to deal with this.

    No sue the sfa for the loss of earnings that week, wages etc. Give the sfa a heads up that you want reimbursed following the the decision to strike. When they say no, bring in uefa or fifa whomever and highlight further the working conditions this club has to deal with.
    Surly uefa would have to impose penaltys or fines on the sfa for bringing or encouraging bringing the game into disrepute by not taking action sooner (years ago).

    * the BIGOTED SFA

    I have no idea tbh but whatever it is it shouldn't come from the "and everything we stand for" brigade as their views are too tinted by the "oppression" they supposedly face. We need someone a bit more rational, as we are never going to get someone to speak for the majority of the support now. There are far too many differing opinions on the level of, and reasons for, corruption in the SFA.

    We need a McCann-esque removal of Dallas and McDonald and I think John Reid will get that in the end, but he's playing a long game and this refs strike will make him re-jig parts of that plan.

    All teams,fans,stewards and Polis should turn up for business as usual...no Refs...no rules...get right in about it for 90mins, a bare knuckle fist fight if you like...final result stands...imagine an 11-5 or a 38-0 game...great entertainment for the punters.
    * the SFA and their rules!

    Maybe i've taken that too far:rolleyes:

    We need backing from the other SPL sides to have anything happen to the SFA 10/12 votes of other clubs. Lets take some drastic action as soon as the sponsors, sky and espn start having there say we'll have the backing of other clubs when the money starts getting threatened to get withdrawn from the game. Lets start throwing our weight about, we're the richest club in the league and the only club that can afford to play Russian roulette with the SFA. I'm certainly not happy with this getting turned on us, no chance!

    This has come up before with boycotts of Hampden suggested. I bet those who are putting money into the game will be * off at this including Sky. Maybe theyll put them under pressure to change their minds.
