I think Nicholas (1st Time), Di Canio and Cadete could have been legends had they stuck around long enough. Also think Frank McAvennie could also have been a legend.

I beleive both Lubo and Lambert done enough in their time to be classed as Legends.

You said Di Canio is not legendary worthy and yet you say Robson could be???

    no.

I said that Robson would have had to have sustained his form from his first season to have any sort of chance ashe was declining in performances for us when we sold him.

Personally I think I would count McGeady as a legend.

Played a part in two of our most succesful periods in our history.

I agree with that. I remember he got injured during a Champions League game and had to be substituted and the reception he got from the crowd was brilliant, as he had been having a great game.

He made a big mistake going to Man Utd.

For me mate, McNamara IS a club legend:50:

John Kennedy WOULD have been a legend, where it not for a certain individual whose name sounds like ghonneria

Good player, entertainer, boy who played for his heroes but never in a million years a legend.

Jackie Mac again a good player, loyal servant, model pro but never a 'legend.

Legend is a word used to describe the very top few who win a place in the hearts of the fans. Larsson is the epitome of a club legend, grown men have tattoo's of him on their skin, they broke down in a tearful heap when he left and just the sound of the word 'Henrik' makes Celtic fans swoon still to this day. I thought Lubo was actually a better footballer than Henrik, probably the most naturally gifted player I've ever seen regularly with my own 2 eyes but even calling him a legend is stretching it.

I think in the next 2 years we'll see just how good he is, playing with real maturity now and picking out passes instead of beating his marker 4 times in a row

Agreed that is the definition of a Celtic Legend. :50: But still I myself break the trend for Lubo just for the fact that even though he wasnt here for as long as Henrik, he always gave his all for us and was the finest technically gifted player I have ever seen in the flesh. I dont care how good Messi and Ronaldo are I genuinely feel that Lubo could have held his own with them. And Lubo played for the fans and was loved by us and we loved him. I know it is stretching it to call him one but for me Lubo is a legend.
