    Celtic 6 Inverness Caledonia 0.
Thought ICT would have gave Celtic a better game, but they were almost non existant.
Celtic missed a number of chances, otherwise it would have been a cricket score.
Its hard to judge players and rate them in this type of game, it was like a training session.
Samaras got a hat-trick, Stokes got two, and Hooper scored one.

great result yes, but the defence at times was like watching a carry on film comedy of errors, need to smarten up if not, i can see us having to come out of games 2nil down

Forster - 6 - nothing to do except come out and collect passes at the edge of the box, he did that

Emilio-n/a - every time we get a good player someone seems to cripple them.
Chuck Mulgrew - 6.5 - passing was pretty * good tonight and had sammy through on one occassion. Made his case to be a Celtic backup
Majstorovic- 7- won every header, another solid display
Loovens - 6.5 almost let them through but for a late offsides flag. otherwise solid as well.
Wilson - 6.5 another man who made a strong case for his continued presence as a fairly reliable parkhead backup. Never runs out of legs and gives his all whenever we see him.

Sammy- 9 - MOTM perofrmance from his less favored left wing slot. Should have had 4 and was lucky to have 3 after a mishit chip trickled in. Even still 2 well taken goals and an assist is a great day at the office.
Ki- 7.5 - Would be 8 aside from the awful slide-tackle that could have earned him red. Passing is clean, crisp, and creative. His shots were dangerous from range though he often takes an awful long time to set them up. Also a great block in the first minute revealing perhaps a renewed effort to add defense to his game.
Ledley - 7 - another very solid performance from the Welshman whose passes rarely give up possession and keep our offense moving.
Juarez- 7- a very handy guy to have puttering around the team. His ability to fill in across the park has been very useful so far this season. However, not a natural winger and tends to cut in quite a bit to his natural CM position.
Crosas -6.5- With him and Ki moving the ball around together late in the game and us in command, we looked very fluid. Still aching to get his way into Lennon's plans.
Maloney- 6.5- settled into the game quickly and became another cog in a fluid Celtic attack.

Hooper- 7- took his poachers goal very well, a talent missing. good physical presence in the box given by the stout englishman.
Stokes- 7.5- Not as burly as Hooper, perhaps, but , more creative. Stokes showed a bit of his creative streak today and capitalized well on a defensive error. He edges Hooper by blasting a more earned goal with a peach of a shot from 18 yards.

Overall we played pretty well against an outclassed opponent. We shouldn't get too uppity bout it. However, today underlined for me just how many options we have of good, young central midfielders.

Brown Ki Ledley Juarez Kayal Crosas + the young academy lads coming through like Towell

End of the day somebody is gonna be disappointed which is too bad as I truly think each of those fellas can really play.

    pure class tonight.

We looked really good against hearts in spells, tonight it was more sustained, but it is going to be hard the coming weeks, hibs, hamilton, d utd then rangers.

    I think our best line up at present for the big games is this one;

    ----------------------Forster-------------------

    Wilson--------Loovens?--------Maj--------Emilio

    Juarez------------Kayal------Ledley-----Sameras

    -----------------Hooper-----Stokes------------

    Rounge
    Brown
    Ki
    Cha
    Maloney
    Murphy
    Mccourt
    Zaluska

That is the strongest squad we have had in years imo, even the subs bench is good!!

Almost faultless tonight and played some really nice football at times. Brilliant,

Get rid of Loovens and we have a solid team going.

Thanks for the video posting, been trying to find highlights all night!

I'm a season ticket holder, who couldn't go tonight as couldn't get a shift swap.

Ki's tackle was bogging, and I can't be hypocritical, i would be outraged if anyone done that to a Celtic player. It hurts me to say it about one of our own players, but he is an absolute disgrace for that, we as a club should not tolerate this. As much as Samaras (for example) can be frustrating, at times he does deliver for celtic and takes severe abuse from many in the stands, I hope those responsible are more outraged at Ki's tackle than Samaras sometimes below par performance's.

Hope this makes sense, not trying to stir up trouble here, just interested in what others think. I think I probably see most things through green tinted specs, but down the years I've always been very outspoken about such tackles, and seeing it from someone in the hoops is distasteful.

P.S. Just remembered, Juarez at the weekend was disappointing with that dive/playacting, hope someone pointed out to him that this is not the Celtic way, he was behaving more like a hun.
