As soon as I saw Loovens in the papers this morning I knew he was bound to have a shocker.
Never mind shaving your head, how about keeping your head & getting the basics of defending right!
Stupid rash challenge for the booking in first 3 mins, caught out badly for the goal, he needs to cut out these simple mistakes if he's ever going to be a regular first pick.

I agree with other fans, think Paddy is best as an impact sub, not keen on him starting matches, overall today we were poor, especially our passing.

Still 3 points in the bag, but badly need to improve before we meet the Sons of Satan next month.

I thought Ledley was quiet. But didn't do anything wrong. Simplicity

I'd prefer he tried his best to stay on his feet.
He went down holding his leg just below the knee. You've just said there was no contact so you can't justify him holding his knee. he dived.

The lessons from the Kilmarnock game for me are as follows.

1.Paddy McCourt should only be used as an impact sub,
as he does not bring enough to the team with his overall contribution
    and levels of fitness.
    2. Murphy and Stokes should be our first pick attacking pairing,
as they are on the same wavelength as each other, at least
until Hooper is fully fit again.
3.Juarez should be played at right back instead of Cha, for his greater
    defensive capabilities and maturity.
    4. We need to sign Danny Shittu as I am not convinced with Loovens.

we won got 3 points and we never played to good, it's not like this has happend for the first time, even under other managers who have won things this has happend

i really don't know what some fans want, 4 or 5 nil every week mabe? just to let you know that will never happen, wake up and live in the real world, we need games like this back to the wall not everyone playing at the top and still winning

this give players a boost shows that they will still fight in games even tho they are not playing well and still getting the 3 points rather tha giving up and saying oh well it was an off day and thats why we lost or draw but we can take some good things out of the game.

no we would rather have the 3 points and saying we can fight and scrap for these type of games and get the win

also to a post i seen about scoing goals and goal diference at the end of the season we are only in a few games still loads of time to get some more games at parkhead to win by a good few goals, it's not panic stations just yet

i don;t know if it's just me but some fans on this site are never happy, lets face it celtic have never played fantastic week in and week out every game for a season and won the leauge we have had some scrappy games and won ugly, so to the fans who forgot about that just have a wee remember about that.....

them scrappy games that we win and the 3 points we get are better than scoring loads of goals and not winning them games, just like when saint tommy burns was the manager some of the best football ive seen at celtic park but we could not win the ugly games

Not sure that Murphy should be starting games. I'd prefer we gave hooper his chanve when fit

We,d take 3pts anytime away from home but tbh there was some worrying points today!! We are imo very slow upfront and against better teams we could be found wanting , no way can stokes and murphy start together we need 1 striker to have pace hooper or sammy for me !! Its time to find out if rogne or misun are up to the job because loovens sure as * aint and finally paddy is an impact player to come on when theres a bit more space it looks like he hasnt the heart for the fight sometimes with these mickey mouse injuries he picks up !! On the plus side wee shaun and izza looked great together all match and jaurez looked lively when he came on good to see stokesy get his first goal too, well done son !!

A missed most of the first half, so cant comment.

Second half a thought we just did enough, but far from convincing, had far 2 many chances to bury them and didnt take them, slow patient build up, building to many passes without penetrating there backline, the new leftback impressed me hugely, looks like we have a steal there for the 400 grand or so that was dished out, but a lot of room for improvement, a want that ball moved much quicker than it was today, and a want our wingers or full backs to reach that byline constantly, not enough of it today imo

happy we got the 3 points right enough

agree with 1 and 2 but not 3 and 4

3, why play juarez who is great going forward and can make things happen play him at right back wasted on going up and down the right when playing him in the middle he can run a game, also cha was not that bad? what did he do wrong? just wondering

on 4, shittu knocked us back as the papaers said so we could not get him in also lennon had loads of time to get in an other player and he did not he must see somthing in loovens that we don't

Agree with number one. Not fussed on Shittu but whatever happens, happens.

Don't agree with 2 and 3 to be honest. Think one of those forwards with Hooper maybe or Hooper with a new signing (don't want to speculate too far into the future but it is what i would like to see) in Jan could be decent. Like Cha going forward from RB. Juarez is a decent RB though, but i love his energy in the middle.

Aye it was that wee * Hamill, SPL is full of these nonsense wido players. Long may it continue cos they'll flip out & get booked/sent off.

Did enough today, but we're a long way from the finished article. Concentration & urgency need to be drummed into some thick skulls (Yes you Glenn!). Emilio is a class act

It's important that we can still pick up the points, when we're not at our best - dare I say, that's the sort of game we would have dropped points in last season. We grinded out a result and personally I'm relieved that we're able to manage that this season.

I've got to say, I felt Paddy lost a few balls and it lead us into a lot of trouble at the back, with Kilmarnock's fast counter attacks. A lot of players were guilty of it but I thought Paddy was terrible for it at the start. He improved and made a good few runs but I still don't feel he does enough defensively and our shape isn't as good when he starts.

I think Maloney should have started left with Paddy behind the striker. That way we don't pay for Paddy's lack of back-tracking or defensive play and he can float around wherever he likes. I still feel Paddy's more effective as an impact sub when we're not needing to keep our defensive shape as much and we're really pushing forward.

Overall, really happy with the win, performance could've been better and it's nice to see the two strikers in and about the goals.
