They can be very rare can't they? Usually every Rangers fan makes your blood boil but do you know any Rangers fans who are ok to talk to in terms of football and religion? I have 4 bosses in work, 1 Celtic fan, 1 who doesn't like football and 2 Rangers fans, the main boss was saying to the other one, "you going to belfast with me for the orange walk?" and he replied "naw, am no inty aww that stuff" he then said something about killing Catholics and then he ended up hittin back with "see mate, thats just bitter" this guy is a Rangers fan but he has got to be one of the soundest person when it comes to football, he is not biased and he once was like "Craig Bellamy can play for any club in the world, he's amazing and puts in 100%" and was saying that all these politics behind football is daft and he hates how Celtic/Rangers fans don't get on.

Same with my mum, she was a Protestant Rangers fan who was really bitter and that until she met my dad who was a catholic, my mum used to be really bitter until she obviously had me and my sister, she never had any bother of me being a catholic or my sister but my sister went to the dark side apparently :38:

Its always that innit mate, whenever you try and prove a point or arguing with them its always BJK or * the pope or fake religions, beasts and that.

Can't tar them all with the same brush, but in saying that 99% of the time I can pick out a hun within 5minutes of meeting him, without talk of football or religion.

Take from that what you will :56:

They think the same about us talking about them as Orange * or Huns when we get together in a crowd. There are bigots on both sides and anyone that denies it is deluding himself or herself and is usually one themselves.
I have 2 mates that are of that persuasion and sometimes they are a bit bitter towards us,but no more than i am toward them.I freely admit to being a bit bigotted.....im definitely a 90 minute bigot....but sometimes i feel ridiculous about the whole thing.I am now an atheist,so generally speaking i dont have a lot of time for anyone that is religous, but i LOVE hating Rangers.I dont hate all their fans, but i hate THEIR bigots....but as i indicated,i dont have much time for ours either.

i don't care to associate with them. i've met enough of them that try and "convert" me because i'm a protestant and i have to tell them to get *. i don't need to deal with that, therefore i just avoid them as much as possible

From a personal view i know a good few decent rangers fans.Unfortunately the problems arise due to peer pressure. Once they are in a circle of friends where the knuckle draggers are present the bigoted side creeps out. That's life though.

I'll always stand by hating rangers and their fans with a passion though.I was brought up in an area full of them where they hate all things Celtic and hate all things catholic. It's almost taught to them from an early age.I went to a non denominational school but it was majority protestant due to the catholic school being right next door and kids were brought up with a deep hatred in them. A sad reflection of many a town in Scotland.

All this "small minority" bullshit doesn't work.Everyone in Scotland knows they are Scotland's shame and always will be. There are the odd "normal" fans amongst them but they are few and far between.

A few of my best mates are Rangers fans, grew up with a few of them and could trust them with my life.

Think I found the rare ones.
