It was a great tribute by the GB.

The GB have become a lot more organised and have cut out much of the divisive nonsense that sometimes marred their displays (the pro-ira chanting and in some cases the I'm better than you attitude that some of their members had) and it's paying dividends as more and more fans are seeing the good work that they are doing.

The Comrades need to take a leaf out of their book and start organising themselves and cut out the pro-ira stuff, if they do that they'll reap the benefits.

The stewards werent up in 122 for the chants. They were up because of the drum.

It is an IRA song. IRA aren't mentioned but it's all about IRA members who died. What's not IRA about it?

You wouldn't sing a song about Goebbels then say. "It's not a * song".

I said they had cut out much of it, they still sing pro-ira songs but nowhere near as much as they used to attempt at home games.

I've spoken to a few people that were involved in the GB and some of them came across of thinking they were a better supporter because they were in a group. Not all members are like that which is why I said some. Added to the "if you were proper supporters you'd sing" type comments you see on most forums then you get the impression that some of them think they are better supporters than others who don't sing.

But we are taking this off topic now, the thread is about the great display they did yesterday, I think most people would agree they did well yesterday and the display was fitting for the immortal Mr Stein.
