Says the guy that is salvivating at the prospect of us potentially signing Alan Mutton, which of course will never happen anyway.

yes this story might be a lot of * he may never ever be seen in a celtic shirt in his life but as a season ticket holder of the club i dearly support i personally like any player that would enhance our team from the alan huttons to the robbie keanes of this world no matter where they come from or who they were. what is the saying on the shirt " ITS NOT THE CREED NOR THE NATIONALITY THAT MATTERS ITS THE MAN HIMSELF"

    Cha is better than Hutton

Theyre similar players both tall better at running forward than defending and theyre not really technically gifted. They're almost the same except Cha is faster than Hutton thats about the only differance I can think of.

Hutton and Lee Wallace are both over rated they arent better full backs than Caldwell or McManus are centre backs all Scottish players except for Fletcher, Gordon and McFadden are average at best and even those 3 arent that good either.

Wilson, Cha Du Ri or Hutton (if it happened), hmm from a CFC point of view and for football reasons then Hutton.

What is Hutton better at than Cha?

I can see how you would prefer him to Wilson as he's never fit.

Come on, you canny call Wilson *. He's had shocking luck with injuries, and when fit often a victim of his versatility and the fact he's a massive tim. He'd be a star man at any other SPL team

Hutton can put the foot in,look up and either rampage up the wing or spring a pass, and he is capable of getting a tackle unlike Cha.

I'm a massive tim but i'm also * at full-back. My point, just because you are a supporter it doesnt make you worthy of a place in the greatest team in history.
Anyway i'm away to watch stand by me a classic film :86:

    No he canny.

Hutton couldnt tackle an old woman or pick a pass. All he does is the same as Cha but with less pace. Hutton has no positional sense, neither does Cha, they rely on their pace to defend, they hardly ever slide tackle they just run and pressure the winger to try and win the ball. They aren't the best passers of the ball or crossers if anything Cha is slightly better. They're best ability is at running forward, Huttons usually come to nothing because his crossing is so bad, Cha is that bit faster and usually gets to the byline behind the full-back and cuts it back into the box. Cha because he's that bit faster is a wee bit better at defending and attacking I would say.

Im not slagging Hutton because he played for Rangers either. Davis is a good player I would take him, Ferguson was a good player I would take him, I would take Bougherra etc

Hutton is a poor footballer and an average right-back. Not an improvement on Cha at all.

Mate, put a tape on of Scotland's games the last 3 years (perish the thought I know), you'll find that Hutton is pretty much our most consistent outfield player. He is a cracking player and from what I have seen thus far, far superior to Cha.

    Theyre not.

McFadden is a talented footballer but he's too slow and inconstisant to be any better than that. He would be great in the SPL and score a lot of goals but he's not much use in the Premiership he's like Paddy McCourt is for us in the SPL in the Premiership gives bits of magic now and against and gets goals but not a reliable player.

Fletcher is an average footballer who does a good job for Man Utd but for Scotland where we want him to be the main man he can't be because he can't dominate a game with his ability.... because he has none. He is a workhorse in a talented team. For Scotland he is just another workhorse with nobody around him to dictate the game.

Gordon was a good SPL keeper, in the Premiership hes just another decent keeper, not one of the best or one of the worst down there.
