I remember Bobby Pettas 1st season, and he was *.

His second season was class though. Martin O'Neill done more for him in 2 games than Barnes and Dalglish did in a season

 

tosh mckinlay headbutted larsson. never forgive him for that.

 

always thought stephen pearson was under rated. thought he was brilliant on the left wing. seen him rip barca apart the game we beat them 1-0 with thommos goal at parkhead.

 

for me tommy boyd, played every where for the team.also big shugy edvallsen. very underated as a center half

 

Tosh was out of order no doubt but it ruined his career, safe to say i think he has paid the price for a shocking decision!

Barry Robson for me, not the quickest but decent footballer and loved how he got stuck into the huns
And I thought Alan Stubbs was quality for us too

 

Craig Beattie for me (Dont laugh), Felt as if everytime he came on around the 70min mark he scored

I was at the game that night and he was immense. Thought he'd go on to bigger things with us after that game.

Paul Telfer. Naka said if their was anyone he would personally pick to play behind him was telfer because of the runs and space he created for naka to do his magic.
Big Varga also cme to mind as well. he was solid at the back, no nonsense.

from today its between Fortune or Sammy. both technically gifted, strong and have pace. looking forward to seeing both of them this season.

Varga was a devastating CB, but not given enough credit. VoH was never recognized as one of the more important men in GS' reign. Today, Samaras and Fortune. Not liked just because they don't score much. It's sad.

 

Nakamura doesn't get the credit he deserves sometimes but I think Lennon was very under appreciated at times when he played here.
