Daily Record Player Ratings?

Now I never watched the game yesterday, but going with what people were saying on this forum, most of the team played well in the 4-0 win over st mirren,
these ratings in the Daily Rag, are quite poor to say the least, Did we get beat or draw?

No we won against a fairly poor St mirren team. That's all.

It's not a joke. The comments are fair. The marks are based on the quality of opposition we played. It was a one sided game with our defence and keeper almost spectators.

 

Their goalkeeper got a joint top 8 along with Kayal after letting 4 goals in. lol.

 

Ratings are poor, was this guy even at the game? he musta sat down and decide right.. lets give the defence a 6 for a clean sheet, pick a player in midfield and give him a high rating then pick on Fortune and Samaras as usual

 

Did he prevent it bein 10 though?! It's not just about what he let in

 

agree with some of the ratings but i think fortunes rating was a bit harsh thought he had a very good game

If they gave players 10/10 in this game they couldn't go any higher if we played better against better quality opposition!!

 

Still let in 4 goals. Basically the ratings said he was joint man of the match.

 

So the keeper is to blame for those goals but not stopping it being 10?! Ok...

For me the keeper was blameless.

 

i know what you are saying, but what is the point in marking players out of ten, if there is no way any of them are going to get a ten just because they are playing poor quality opposition, you can only beat whats in front of you.

 

Yup true but did he play better than every celtic player? Rating him on his ability if thats wht they do is just patronising. If your gony give him an 8 for making a few saves then their defence should get a 0 cos they got tore up.

That's why some ratings were different. I think at the same time fans get carried away with performances against poorer teams and want higher ratings. It doesn't really matter though does it?!

I thought most were fair taking everything into account.

 

Although if they scored against us i bet you'd be blaming Zaluska

 

mmm the same poor oposition that we lost 4-0 to last season , we played very well and the ratings on the paper are a disgrace , why can u not be happy for a change ? we won and it was convincing considering we were all over the place the last few games ! , maybe a bit of support to the team instead of constantly mediocre and negative comments from yourself should be in order man !

 

The same poorer team that beat us 4-0 last season? Yesterdays performance shows how far we have come since then, fair enough theyve had a few changes but they should be improvements.

 

Haha this is why a love this forum the differing in opinions is top notch and I always keep a mental note on who I disagree with to see if it happens in the future and i've noticed more or less everytime you say black I say White
