How much will he be paid? He is on something like £40k-£60k a week (relatively tax free) and this seemed to be a sticking point.

I think Everton are a good squad but Delefeou (Sp) and Lukaku are loans, will be interesting seeing what Martinez can do to plug these gaps.

Was hoping he would come back to us and who knows maybe there is still a chance as it seems Everton are not going to sign him in this window knowing he can move on a free after the season is over. But looks like Everton are the favourites at this point for sure.

They should sign him now, would only cost £3/4million and give them a better chance of finishing 4th.

    Howard
    Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines
    McCarthy Barry
    Mirallas Barkley McGeady
    Lukaku

    Quality team.

That would value him at like £12-£15m though?

    And no Delefeou?

i reckon they'd get him for a Mil or so if he's already signed the pre-contract? He's frozen out and Spartak would surely be glad to get anything they can whilst getting him off the wage bill.

Spartak probably wont sell him for cheaper though, they are attempting to win the League for the first time in a good few years. Id imagine they'd rather keep him and use him than only get £1/2million, especially if he has signed a pre-contract as they wont give a * if he gets injured then as hes leaving anyway. But if they were offered £3/4million then they'd probably sell him and use the money to loan someone in or buy a replacement.

He probably is worth about £15million anyway.

The likes of Downing, Milner, Townsend, Young, Lennon in England are probably all valued between £10-20million.

Spurs spent something like £10million on that Chadli too, he couldnt lace McGeady's boots he looks about as good as Lassad lol

£1million is heehaw to Spartak Moscow though, they were desperate to keep him. If they are only offered £1million id bet they'll keep him and play him, they are probably only freezing him out the now incase he gets injured then they cant sell him but if they dont get decent money they'll keep him.

It would be like Everton signing Ledley on a pre-contract and then wanting us to accept £100k for him offering £1million to Spartak Moscow, we'd obviously keep Ledley.
