    First time I have watched Ireland in years. Thought it looked an exciting and positve lineup with McGeady and Duff on the wings and Kean up front. Neither wingers did much and Aidan was pretty invisible but Duff came on to a decent game as time went on. I thought over all Ireland played pretty well but just Croatia had some lethal finishes. Ireland's weakest player IMO is that left back - is it Ward?

    there's no players in the starting xi that played with mcgeady, mcgeady was left with absolute * players to carry the last 2 years before lennon came in, this team with mcgeady would be stronger than what it is just now

    This team was bought off of the McGeady sale, if it wasn't for McGeady we would not have this team.

    Although not missing him 'one bit' is not true. Start of the season I would've gave my left nut to have a player of his caliber in the team. I still would actually, this team has good movement, good finishing and a certain amount of fluency to our play that he never got the oppurtunity to experience at Celtic.

    Sorry, but you're wrong.

    We have one player similar to McGeady left in the squad and that's Forrest. McGeady is faster than him, is much more skilful and is an all round better player. Only thing Forrest has on McGeady is his shooting. McGeady is a top class player, there is a reason Sunderland are going to pay nearly £12 million for him. If we had McGeady right now we would be a better team, dont know how anyone can deny that.
