Spartak lost to CSKA 1:3 but Aiden was the best in his team along with central midfielder Ibson. I saw fans' reactions like 'We need 11 McGeadies" and "Clone McGeady!"

Spartak Moscow - Olympique de Marseille tomorrow 17:30 GMT

Dynamo Moscow - Spartak Moscow 1:1
McGeady was sent off in the 78th minute

but on the whole, he looked great

Spartak finished 4th in the league and qualified to the Europa League. Not a result to be proud of.
p.s. Welliton became the top scorer for the second time in a row

tbh it wasnt that bad a tackle. just because everybody made a big deal of it and he done it just to lose a bit of frustration.

btw awould love to know what that big guy said to him going down the tunnel. mcgeady jus gave him a look as *??

He lashed out due to frustration aye but guys like Jinky would have just got up and got on with it.

The guy probably rightfully had a go at Aiden and no doubt Aiden then proceeded to spit the dummy out and have a go back. A bit like the scenes at Celtic Park after the Ross County game actually.

McGeady used to always do that. If he felt he got fouled and it wasn't given, he would get up, run back and go through the beck of them more often than not!

Yes. It starts in March and ends in November.
But recently the football authorities have decided to change it to the standard European system when the season starts in autumn. Thus, the next season will be held in three rounds from March 2011 to May 2012, and all the following seasons will last from August to May.
The big clubs are lobbying this reform - they want have top physical shape during the European competitions.
All the smaller clubs and all the lower leagues oppose it as they're afraid of playing in awful weather conditions on poor pitches.
