I think so. Even tougher for Ki.

Aye was pure class by big Danny. Like sticking up for his team. Just picked the guy up with ease. Guy didn't argue either. Who would ?!!

The goals were great and so were the performances of the midfield 3 however what pleased me most was the clean sheet and big majstorovovic! :icon_mrgreen:

Specially mention for Cha Du-Ri. What a bargain. Thats all I can say. Very good attacking and crossing and defensive quite sound. * great find. He could have easily had 2,3,4 assists tonight if someone had finished his excellent delivery.

I'm excited about this team. Lenny had them lined out well, they played with drive and determination, great energy right to the end, and this is a team that shouldn't have a lot of confidence. I can see them getting better from this performance. Big Danny will do wonders for that back line. The midfield three were fantastic, even Brown. Fortune was strong on the right, Sammy was very good and looked threatening, wee Shaun looks way better than he did in preseason. Zaluska looked nervous but I think he can get better once the back line gets sorted out and he can stop second guessing everything.
Only minor negatives; Kayal getting hurt, any news on this? Back line had a few shaky moments, not surprising, first game for Danny, Ledley isn't a LB. Sammy had a few lapses in judgment, not surprising but hopefully he can sort them out, when he was good he was very good.
Overall, I think Lenny should get some credit, though the tie's not over. Hope this spurs a better turn-out for the next home game, if they keep up that effort this'll be an easy team to cheer for.

    M'on the hoops!!!

haha yes, he just lifted him up and ushered him away, expected the guy to turn around and protest at least a little but he didn't, guess he knew better.

I think it's important we take a calm, objective view of our situation and not get carried aw-YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!

If our midfield is going to play like that throughout the season I'm going to be one happy Ghirl all season long, the energy, passing, movement and ball retention was fantastic, long may it continue :50:

Oh and you can keep your hands of Kayal, he's mine :52:

Great performance all round. Not a bad player out the lot. Felt they did us proud tonight. Cracking debuts for the new boys and cracking home debuts for the nearly new lot. Kayal seems a real find, Juarez has some engine on him and Brown looked a new man working with those around him. Though some old * around me were still giving Brown pelters at any opportunity, was really un-called for. :38:

Cha looks to have the beating of many a player in a straight race and Fortune can finally come out the striker closet and admit he is a winger!

New Goalie and a hit man up front and we have the making of a really tidy first 11.

Just got me thinking. Anyone mind how Mols was for the huns before his injury? He looked like a absolute cracking player. I have to admit I felt sad for the boy after he came back and was a complete shadow of himself.

It was at a similar time to henrik getting injured and was a case of seeing if either could recapture previous ability.. I never relaised Mols's injury was as bad as it turned out.. Some cruciate damage I think.. He didn't strike me as a guy to embrace the huns but rather a guy who just gave it all for his clubs.. Probably fair to say his injury escalated their problems..
