good performance and good result. we should be able to go there and make it through. kayal and majstorovic look to be decent signings. the trio of juarez, brown and kayal really seem able to boss the central midfield area and showed loads of energy and determination to force the opponents back, something weve missed for a long time.

kayal and majstrovic had great debuts and with kayal,juarez and brown in midfield we looked well balanced.they were all playing box to box so was always cover yet they were always getting forward

 

juarez MOTM. he and kayal are the best signings of the past 3 years. the swedish defender needs a nickname. i'm never gonna be able to learn that boys name but he's an absolute beast. ah knew lenny would come good. mon the hoops

Us not allowing them to play might just have something to do with them looking rotten. Don't take the hard work away from the team by saying them not looking great is why we won. We closed down at every opportunity and they couldn't create chances because of this.

im happy with that, at the start of the match i would have took it, only thing is that we could have done a little better in the 2nd half, kayal looked good, so did majstorovic, so overall im happy

Played well, passed the ball, kept the ball and looked at ease, new players looked good, Juarez, Kayal, were good going forward just wish samaras and fortune were on the same wave length as them, they just can't control the ball when it comes to them or give the wrong pass, makes me so frustrated with them, over all enjoyed the game.

 

The whole team looked good tonight playing as a unit at last, the new signings looked like real quality kayal juarez and maj, still a little dodgy at set pieces tho 2 or 3 free headers given away, other than that its the best performance so far, well done bhoys, bring on st mirren!.

 

kayal looks a stunning piece of business imo.

 

Very promising performance , juarez, brown, danny, were brilliant but for me kayal was the most impressive, dictated the game the whole time he was on. Great pass for the 1st goal.

One more thing i thought browns passing was very good tonight.

 

First half was excellent. Second half not as good but still a good performance. Samaras was very good and linked up well with Maloney once more. took his goal well but Maloney should have scored early on, was harder to miss and I hope we dont regret that. Jaurez, Kayal and Big Danny were absolute different class and it says alot about how well Beram played that he won MOTM and he went off with over 20 mins remaining. Defence looked ok and Brown was very good for a change. All in all, very pleased and hoping we can see it through and get oursevles into the groups.

Negative note though, i thought the bench lookd very week apart fae forrest and mccourt

And its not an easy name to say with a few beers

Loovens never really saw him much but we saw a lot of the big lad - a lot

I dont know i think its that our defence has been so shaky for so long that i am so overwhelmed with this fella

He was fantastic - in all the right places and with the confidence to make all the right moves - think he really contributed soooo much to this win just by being a solid dependable defender

Looking forward to this man being a must have in any line up


Kayal i liked too nice to see his attitude in going forward

Im no samaras fan - but to be fair he did do a lot better and moved well too and had a good game - He just still annoys the life oot me at times

Maloney - not a bad game but really i am no convinced - i think if we had paddy on for 10 to 15 mins we may have got 3

Juarez great effort and a lot of leg running - Ledley i think can take the job at the back not to bad at all - Cha du Ri - great fella - reminds me of a tougher agathe

Overall though - we have a defender - a real good one - Majstorovic

For me that was a great debut and I think we got one spot filled well at least

Good result, we were all over them. Best thing was that we've played steadily and held possesion.

Kayal impressed me - seems like type of player we were looking for in Brown and actually can do the job. And Brown was solid tonight. I guess whole team goes * up when you have Juarez, Kayal and Majstorović who will bite for every single ball and lift the team that way. Confident play, I hope we now destroy St. Mirren this weekend.
