Everton apparently want Celtic to pay ALL of yobo's 40k per week.

Moyes, go and take a hike, you don't want the guy but don't want to contribute a penny towards his huge wage.

    No Thanks

We have managed to remove a large chunk of the wages being paid at Celtic over the past few weeks with the sales of McGeady and Boruc as well as the loans for Rasmussen so I would not be surprised if we pay big wages for a couple of big players before the deadline.

i had a wee think about this deal and as long as we dont need to pay a fee i dont see it as a major problem to pay around 40k a week for him... he could well be the difference between winning and losing this season.

Don't go above the wage structure, pay 30,000 and tell them to pay 10,000

£2million in wages to win the SPL - hardly worth it considering it doesn't even guarantee automatic qualification to the Champs League. I think if we sign a keeper then our team will win the title

My mate meet John Reid yesterday before the game and asked him about transfers which my mate was surprised he was very truthful in his opinion.

When John Reid was asked about Yobo he said it was a none starter pure paper talk and just isn't going to happen.

p.s got to laugh John Reid behind bars :56:

fair play to Reid for being so up front about things and have a picture with yer m8. i think we give these guys a hard way to go more often than is probably deserved. thanks for sharing that. it's good for us as fans to see and hear things like this. if the club had a PR dept. worth a *, it'd put out a lot of the cynism amongst the support. sorry for going off topic but it needs to be said

yes it's been classed as papaer talk but so was that young player who ended up going to the filth it was the papaers who came out with that first and loads of people on here said nah it's bullshit it's only papaer talk

you do know that not all papaer talk is so called bullshit....... lets just wait and see...

and i agree with the post above if, and that is if tthe filth beat us to yobo, thats if we are looking to get him, so says the papaers then i will be * off aswell
