    With a option to sign.

Eiter he'll be a succes at Mainz 05 and they'll make a bid we'll accept. Or he'll be a failure, and going back to a Celtic squad without a chance for much time on the pitch next year.

Shame. The main thing is though, he isn't sitting about on wages and if he wasn't getting in our team, he will get into theirs. Maybe he comes back or maybe he gets a move. He would have been better off in the championship i think but maybe Germany is a good choice for him culturally.

Is Mainz far from Denmark? that could be an influence

Would love him to come back and play for us. Doubt it though.

Rasmussen scored his first Bundesliga goal in his first game for Mainz today in the 47th minute...

I know he is only on loan.....Should we have held on to this guy???

i liked the look of him most of the times i seen him play, albeit he only made about 10 appearances and about half of them as sub. looked like the type of center forward who'd score 20 plus goals a season in the spl. was very hopefull when we signed him. but thats football.

To be fair, i don't knwow hat the goal he scored was like. But we want him to score goals there so he either can move on or even if unlikely, come back and stake a claim. To be honest though, it may have been an easy chance we don't know. Make more of a judgements over a longer period over the season

Well I am sorry to see him go - what a waste.

He has scored plenty of goals at every club he has played for.

And Mainz too - 47th minute.

Saw the goal - a powerfull long range header from a freekick.

    sigh:54:

If he does well we wont get him back.

Maybe we can hope for a small injury setback?

    Rasmussen is 2 for 2

Rasmussen scored in his second game too:31:

    So 2 for 2......In the Bundesliga:54:

Can't believe we let him go without giving him a fair chance.

His price would have been set before he went on loan mate so no matter if he scores 1 or 30 goals it will be a set price

He's just fucken mocked us saying Germany is far better than Scotland, which the league is but you dont come out and say it...*.

If I was Lenny, I would keep him on the fucken bench, or loan him out to * clubs and basically ruin his career, but thats just me.
If he wants a chance with a good football club, maybe he should try us.
