    If Paddy McCourt keeps fit

Do you think he will be amazing? When I see him play, the ball sticks to his feet and his feet are really quick. He is a nightmare to every defence he plays against. I am just wondering what do you think if he were to keep fitter and was faster.

my heart says yes but my head says no, he is good when we play the likes of falkirk and the wee teams and can get away with things with them but in big games he is no-where to be seen

never been fit since he came to the club, * knows why, remember he is the same guy who never got a deal at motherwell aswell a few seasons ago, he is a squad player at best if am gona go with my head

he's good but he tries to go past players at the wrong time and his passing could do with improving, but he has a lot of potential so we will see.

He'd never be out of my team. Players of his ability are few and far between.

Whether or not our system can accommodate him remains to be seen.

the kind of flair that Paddy brings is one of the reasons that we all watch football, he can be quite simply magical.....however he is not fit enough, or fast enough and alas that is why he will be a squad player who gets a run from time to time.....

Definatly has the talent. No fitness after coming out of the Irish league to Celtic but he's improving, plus I think he had back trouble. If he gets his head down and works hard, theres no reason why he can't be great at Celtic.

If Paddy McCourt keeps fit ................... it will be a miracle??

Seriously though id work out a system Paddy to start the game then like Forrest or McGinn to come on at half time?

Keith Fahy and Kevin Doyle seemed to cope alright. Theres not as big a gap as youd think between the two leagues, bar the old firm.:shamrock:

That's what I was expecting the opening post to say.

I think we need to give him a run of a few games to see how he handles it and if he can produce for the whole game and not go missing for spells, as he has done in the past.

he is not the best player we have thats just madness to think just cause he skint a few players in the wee teams of the spl does not mean he is our best player

why do people go over the top with some players????
