[Cross Platform] Call of Duty: Black Ops

Bought this today and didn't like it at first, after getting used to it it's amazing!

Got it about 3 hours ago. Only played 2 Hours but. Think I done one mission? Then went to the multi-player! CoD is always known for its multi player and can I say its outstanding! The campaign also suprised me! I wasn't looking forward to it but im really enjoying it

 

game is unreal i got it at midnight on monday played 13hrs and im on prestige 1 level 13 doing not bad

 

Ive had it since last week and youve put more hours in than me

 

thats what a week off work does

 

I'm up to level 41

 

I loved the mission in campaign where you literally control the helicopter .

 

Started playing it today, only did the multi-player tho, love it :icon_mrgreen:

 

Just completed it there, great stuff. Make sure you watch the end credits all the way through for a funny video

Gonna batter into multiplayer now

 

Chopper Gunner is awful, the pilot points outside the map 75% of the time

 

Didn't like it at the start, but playing it more its immense.

Anyone got it on the PC?

 

So dissapointed with it, it's unbelievable.

Not saying it's a bad game but was expecting it to be great, it's just average. The spawn system is the worst I have ever seen in a shooter game, you pull away from your team hoping to kill people, kill a few guys around a certain area, and because you are away from your team on the opposite end of the map from your team, the enemy spawn behind you and take you down! It's so retarded! I don't know why they didn't just keep the same kind of system as MW2 which worked. People will moan about spawn trapping but if you're smart enough you get out of the trap.

The knifing is still overpowered. So many times I've put at least 5/6 bullets down someones throat and they lunge forward and knife me. Bullet damage seems to be different every time, one gun fight you can shoot someone in kill them in 3 or 4 shots, next you kill them in like 8 even though its the same area. I'll put that down to lag for now.

RC car is basically a guaranteed kill every time and only takes 2 kills with hardline or 3 kills normal which is a joke. Didn't know they were trying to make Black Ops the new Gran Turismo with this one.

Noob tubes aswell still work which I was hoping they'd take away, they're just not as popular yet.

I'm still managing to hold down a 2.00+ KDR I just don't think it's as good as MW2 tbh.

 

I'm finding the knife terrible to use. I'll lunge forward and through the person and a second later I'll be dead! Deffo lag issue but no happy with it! The snow map has horrendous lag issues as well online.

And aye the spawn system is seriously gash! You kill someone and 5 seconds later they are back behind you

I'm sure after a few updates it'll all be sweet though Still loving it mind :bbpd:

I think its * hot btw. Best call of duty ever probably. The only bad spawing ive seen is on Nuketown. Wee secret about the r/c cars throw a flash. The game is well balanced. I dont know how your managing to get 6 hitmarkers on anyone without them dropping . maybe lag? I heard apparently the ps3 version has major framerate issues ? the noobtubes are useless mate. The blast damage on it has been nerf'd like *. MW2 was the worse call of duty out mate. so unbalanced , infinte noobtube super soldiers !

 

I agree with the spawning not being great but overall i think its great, * over MW2.

 

It's a good game, nothing like what i thought it'd be. Really bad spawning system especially in Nuketown. knifing is terrible.

I got my first yellow light of death on my ps3 that ive had since release date this morning when i was about to rip on some zombiespure *

 

hard luck mate, best getting a new one rather than fixing the old one, im on my 2nd now.

 

Love the game. Much better than MW2. The Famas is a beast of a gun , much better than the MW2 version. Good to see the return of the AK-74u aswell , not been in any of the games since Cod4(iirc). Zombies is good fun aswell , Me and two friends got to level 18 on Rino Der Toten(spelling) and we got far on 'Five' aswell.
