Totally agree with the 'lennon stand down' rubbish though. It would be horrible to make lennon stand aside. No matter who it is.

How disrespectful are some people in this thread! Saying that Lennon should 'do the right thing and step aside'....why the * should he? He is Celtic manager on merit!

Seriously, I'd understand if this was like mid-season and Lenny was making an absolute * of things, but to suggest he should step aside before he's barely started is mental.

I think he resigned because maybe he was told he'd only get a percentage of the Milner fee.

just logged on, ma mate told me bout o'neill earlier, surprised the site hasn't crashed yet, good luck to him wherever he goes, just hope its somewhere that will give him a free reign with cash, wouldn't be surprised if mancini gets the boot very quickly indeed, would love for him to have advisory role until someone snaps him up...

    What? :87:

Poor timing for us as a club, all you'll get now is dreamers thinking he'll come back.

sad news ... for MON . The man made villa into the team they are today .. champions league contenders. Its pretty obvious randy lerner rattled a few too many cages regarding martin o neil.

Regarding celtic ... i dont think been paid as a mentor for lenny , is what MON woud be looking for. Hes a manager in his own right . One of the top ones at that. Complete shock

Martin hasn't had the financial benefits that Jose had. Completely stupid to say he has done zero to deserve it:38:

Which, imo anyway, make Martin's achievements every bit as impressive as Mourinho's.

Real are notorious for getting rid of managers if they don't deliver. Del Bosque is an example of that. Anyone that lasts 5 years there must win all the time but I think they may look at MON and Moyes but their style of football may not suit them.
