It is true that Utrecht look organised and like to sit deep and play either the channel-pass or the long one over the top. Unless we can get through the middle of them, i fear we will resort to long punts which might not work, but set-pieces could play a big part.

you are right about our defence - its really weak, as is our Goalkeeper and i am certain we will concede goals against your side. Our left back position is the main problem - hopefully we can sign someone to resolve this before Monday's deadline. Going forward i think we are quite a good side - some good creative players and decent strikers. Thats my own honest assessment of Celtic.

Most of us should remember Michal Silberbauer because he played at Celtic Park for Copenhagen in 2006.

Just watched the footage - your team look very sharp and dangerous! I've just recently returned from holiday with my wife and son in Turkey and met a really nice guy and family (he had an Utrecht tattoo on his shoulder). We spent lots of time talking about our teams each day ( Mark Antoine Fortune is still a real favourite at Utrecht) and never thought that we would be drawn against each other in the Europa! We have been in touch already via e-mail and are tring to arrange visits to each game. The Utrecht stadium sounds like a really difficult place for opposition teams to go??:bbpd:

It kinda changed last season because of all our new players, we have players which have lots of speed, and our passing is fine and our counters are deadly, we are well organised, but almost always we try to attack, we have the players for that kind of play.

You're playing us at good time before we've got a chance to get organised.

Watch out for Juarez he could be the difference between the teams.

    veel succes

I believe Fortune' was used as a winger more in Utrecht

For me this is where he looks most dangerous or right side of a front three.

That's right, we had no such strikers that season, he played very good and I wished he didn't left us, but we needed the money :31:

Yeah Kev, a lot of us here like him on the right midfield. We bought him for 3.8 million pounds and we all thought that was a lot but he's better now than he was before.

I like him on the right wing forward in a 4-3-3 because he is a good crosser, but strong for the sides too.

Dont see us signing a new keeper and defenders in time for the registration deadline so think this is our strongest team at the moment.

Agree mostly. Cervi isn't any better than Zaluska and Kayal is unproven. Not a single scottish player in sight lol.

Great player, we loved him because of his excellent skills, but I thought Celtic always used him as a sub, is this true? I never saw him play in the main squad, but maybe this has changed? I watch Champions League and Europe League last season, but I dont know who you're opponents were or something, but you didn't get far in my view, am I right?

Cha will play against Dries Mertens, how are his skills? I dont know any of your defenders, why don't you have any Scottisch(?) players anymore?

Also could you please tell me a video on youtube I need to see, to get a glimpse of your team?

Hes solid and fast as *. This will be a good contest. We do have scottish players. Our captains scottish, Scott Brown, but hes injured. Our usual LB is scottish but hes *. A couple of Scottish youngsters that are good. James Forrest is one to watch out for.

we didnt qualify for the CL, dropped into Europa groups but didn't qualify from it.

Fortune' started well but got an injury that kept him out of the team for 5/6 weeks and then he came on as a sub most games. When he was in the team again from the start, he didnt score many goals so the manager made him a sub again. But he's done ok. Expecting better of him this season ! We know he has ability.

Scottish players aren't as good anymore mate. Its a shame, there's some good players at aged 18 and 19 in our league so maybe Scotland will be better.

Thats what happens, our game is good for a few years, then crap, then better. It depends on the young players the teams produce from academy

I dont think Cervi is any better but Zaluska looked a nervous wreck on Wednesday and that filters through to his back four which is not good for the team.

Kayal will be a celtic legend :50:

I would like Wallace in at left back and to give young Forrest a run at right wing.... that should up our scottish contingent for ya :icon_mrgreen:
