In that video Ajax looked like they were pretty shocking tbh. Very much a shock result.

They have 2 players who have a good free kick. One of them who blasts them into the corner and another who curls them into the corner. Definately cant afford to give away silly free kicks 25 yards from goal. Lets hope Scott Brown is still injured by the time we play these games.

maybe so, but in most videos they will be coming up against lesser teams than Ajax who had a bad day obviously then.

Well he did, but he went on a trial to our club, now he is an important player for us, you'll probably soon find out :)

Dries Mertens is our best player, he has his bad days just like every other player, right? In our attack we have Jacob Mulenga, a very strong player, he does have skills like Marc-Antoine Fortune, but he hasn't got his technical skills unfortunately ;)

I came across some PSV fans in London last year started talking about football as you do, these were orange * with Rangers tatoos and real hatred for Celtic and everything we stand for.

So your naive if you think it's a one way thing!:shamrock:

The majority of Dutch could not give a * about the Huns incorrect understanding of 17th century British and European politics. The majority of Huns, however, have a superiority complex that would allow them to think that they do.

    That's the difference.

I think you have our best players in your post, but don't forget Nana Asare, Jacob Lensky, Michael Silberbauer(our Danish Dynamite) and Michel Vorm(2nd keeper of our National team and had a clean sheet of about 20 last season) our defense is very solid, I think you'll notice it because of the very few clean sheets last season. Gianluca Nijholt is not a player of our main team, we have multiple players that shoot our free-kicks.

PSV thing probs due to * Advocaat though really.

Just like a lot of Feyenoord look out for Celtic cos of Jansen and Van Hooijdonk

edit: it isn't all dutch- i know it is a modern society there with no real care for history with a high tolerance but catholicism makes up 26% (the largest percentage) of religion there.

Just read that a former Pope was from Utrecht !

We can only hope that we show them up big time and put them in their place. Lets show them what being a real fan is. It's not about who has the hardest hooligans and who can be the most disrespectful. It's about creating a great atmosphere and willing your team on to victory. Imo religion should not even be a part of football. It should be purely about the sport. this will never happen though as hooligans such as the utrecht mob keep it going.

Aye, I see what you're saying, but these guys had a real hatred for us that took me buy surprise. Once they found I was Celtic they stopped talking saying they would rather no speak showing his hun crest tatoo. Needless to see I wasn't too happy!

Adding PSV to my most hated teams, scum!!:shamrock:

    Why ?

I think there is some PSV fans on here who like Celtic and you say that based on what someone has said. Not all of them will have an interest in Rangers or even Celtic so it is harsh to generalise.

Not to tar them all with the same brush, but i have a dutch fella in my college class who was fascinated when he found out i supported Celtic.

He told me that in his school there was a large Huns following. They went on schools trips the Ipox every year. Not so sure your opinion is so solid to be honest mate. The Dutch love the link they have with the British monarchy and to those who like football AND politics/history, its pretty much a recipe for Hun loving all round!

(by the way, the guy i know IS a rangers fan, but tells me its is purely due to the area he grew up in and his families interests, although personally he is a really decent bloke who, without sounded too *, i have a LOT of time for!)

Despite what i said in my earlier post, i think most Dutch don't care for religion

to be honest mate, hand on heart, i think the Irish/Scottish old firm support out wiegh any football following who involve religion so deeply so much with their football club. It has been said many times before on this forum, but it is really one of the saddest things!

    *edit*
I realise that religion and politics in these countries go hand in hand and so inevitably any personal decision (such as supporting a football team) will have been swayed by these facotrs, but that said, Still very sad situition to be in, you know?
