I think you've been learning a thing or two from Mr.Walker dazza..i said he has been getting pelters from all angles, the press, opposition AND his own 'support'. iaint wasting my time looking for newspaper reports to prove a point mate, feel free to take the time to find it yourself if you want.

they are no worse than braga. braga are a very very average team. if you were offered 3 of the braga players just now i think you would struggle to pick 3 out.

 

i read the papers every day. im not going to look out for something that i dont think has happened. as i said feel free to prove me wrong but i dont think you can hence your answer...

 

if you were offered 1 of that artmedia team who would you take?plus 5-0 is worse than 3-0.and the press hated strachan with a passion

as i said braga were just as poor artmedia. but that not the point. strachan got pelters so in respect to that lennon has got off lightly in my opinion

FURIOUS Neil Lennon last night accused Andy Walker of spouting lies as the Celtic boss hit back at fierce criticism of his signing policy and team's Champions League exit.
Ex-Hoops striker Walker incensed Lennon with his scathing verdict on the club's transfer strategy this summer and claim that Celtic crashed out "with a whimper" after they beat Braga 2-1 at home on Wednesday to lose 4-2 on aggregate.
The Hoops were yesterday paired with Dutch side Utrecht in the Europa League play-off but Lennon was still simmering with anger at the flak he regards as unfair and inaccurate.
He said: "I am not surprised at the criticism but I am surprised at where it has come from.
"It was ex-players who were wearing a Celtic shirt at a promotional event for Tennent's and getting paid good money for it and then putting the boot into the team, the club, the board and myself. I can't have that and won't accept it. One particular player criticised my signing policy .
"I said I was trying to bring British and Irish players in, which I have done - Joe Ledley, Charlie Mulgrew, Daryl Murphy and Gary Hooper. I tried to go after Jimmy Bullard, David James and Sol Campbell but was unsuccessful.
"But all he could think about were the Israelis, South Koreans and Mexicans, who I think will enhance and improve the club anyway. So he is a bit economical with the truth there.
"He said we went out of the competition with a whimper, didn't have a sustained amount of pressure and there was a lack of crosses against Braga, which was, again, a falsehood. We put 37 crosses in.
"We scored from two and had 65 per cent possession. I am not big on stats but I have to use these to back up what I said."
Lennon also defended his captain Scott Brown, who was slated by Walker.
The Celtic boss said: "He was prompting attack after attack, winning the ball back and covering the ground. I couldn't have asked more of him."
Turning his attention to the games against Utrecht, Lennon said: "We want to take a lead over there and get into the group stages. Anything can happen after that."

we have all seen this. this is lennon answering walker back. why he felt the need to * knows. whats the point of putting this up??

How many people actually agree with what Walker said? I know I agree with alot of it and he made some very valid points. Some might not have needed to ahve been said and was maybe a little manufactured and short sighted but the majority was spot on. Imo, Lennon didn't need to react in such a manner, but as I have said before, he needs to back up his players.

So, we show of hands....... Who agrees, mostly, with what Andy Walker said?

i thought he was spot on. dont know what the fuss is about? say a word against lennon on here though and you get murdered !!

Neil was well aware what he was getting himself into when he took the job
being knocked out of the CL at the first hurdle was not going to be an easy ride
I agree with Walker and also like the fact that Neil had a good comeback
