What I have been told is that it is between us and Cardiff but celtic are the only team between them both who has agreed a deal with Man City and that Craig Bellemy will decide on Tuesday where he wants to go.... I hope he goes for celtic!

BBC Radio 5 live's Robbie Savage on Craig Bellamy: "Craig has not been fined, that's not true. He's got a good relationship with Man City, says there's no problem at all between them. He thinks he should be in the City 25-man squad, but he's not. He's been at a club today having discussions but I can't tell you who it is. It might surprise you, possibly. He's had offers from clubs who might finish higher than Man City!"

Sorry it was five live not talksport

    Updated: 18:10 Monday 16th August.

Real Radio understands Craig Bellamy will confirm his half-season loan move to Cardiff City in the next 48 hours.
We're told a deal has been reached between the two clubs on how to pay his wages and he will be captain at home to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
The 31-year-old could be recalled before January by Manchester City at any time but there is an option for Bellamy to stay beyond then and he could be a Bluebird for the rest of the season.
The striker had already been told by Manchester City he won't be included in their 25 man squad and is free to leave before the transfer deadline on August 31.
Late on Sunday night, a Bluebirds spokesman said: "With the number and the names of the clubs being mentioned in connection to Craig it is flattering that we are an option, but at this stage it is pure speculation.
"Being connected to a player of this calibre shows how far we have come, to be even considered in a deal like this.
"We would love it to happen of course, but we are by no means alone in this."
Last week Bellamy spoke openly about his future at a Wales press conference.
Craig Bellamy tells a Wales press conference he wouldn't rule out a move to Cardiff
He said: "I have always wanted to play for Cardiff. I've never been shy in saying that.
"My wife and kids live here, I've missed them now for the last five or six years, so that would have more of a pull to me than most.
"I will have to wait and see and see what options are possible but I certainly wouldn't rule it out.
"Would I love to get Cardiff City to the Premier League? Of course I would.
"I feel I'd have more of an impact doing that than playing 100 games for Wales. For us to move forward as a nation football-wise, we need a Premier League team."
Cardiff have had well documented off the field financial problems this summer and the 31 year old's wages are rumoured to be £90,000 a week.
Before last week's game with Derby Boss Dave Jones said: "Craig's wages will be unbelievable.
"And the club will have to look at it, if it is a possible then we will look at it but we work within a budget.
Speaking before the Derby game Boss Dave Jones says the club would look at breaking their wage structure if it was possible to bring in Craig Bellamy
"That budget will have to be broken and funded somewhere else - but that would be no different to any other football club.
"Craig lives two minutes away from me and five minutes away from the training ground.
"And any player of that quality who says he wants to go to you and you've got a chance, then fantastic.
"A player of that ilk talking about this football club means we are doing something right.
"But don't forget It wasn't so long ago when we brought in Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and they don't come here if it is not being run right."

Real Radio Wales - 105~106fm :: Cardiff close on Bellamy

    updated 16th August 2010 19:43

Sky Sports News understands Craig Bellamy is set to return to training with Manchester City on Tuesday.
Bellamy's[IMG] future at City has been the subject of intense speculation in the last 48 hours with reports suggesting he was close to joining Cardiff City.[IMG]
It had also been suggested that City had banned the Welshman from training and allowed Bellamy to link up with Cardiff.
However, Sky sources believe the former Newcastle[IMG] and Liverpool[IMG] man will return to training with Roberto Mancini's[IMG] side on Tuesday.
Bellamy has claimed he feels he is being marginalised by the club and that he does not figure in Mancini's long-term plans.
The 31-year-old is expected to leave City before the end of the transfer window with Fulham,[IMG] Tottenham and Celtic all chasing his signature

I think this deal is ...........:rip_1:

Someone wake me up if shockingly we somehow get him. In the meantime, I'll just be dreaming that we signed a good striker.

Our best striker still is....... Samaras.
