I would be ashamed of our club relying on a madman to get the title. I hope we get it without his ˝contribution˝. He probably would get his 20 goals, but I do not want him.

 

Could it not be that they get hate due to the jealousy other fans have for these clubs and their players? Very few great players are liked by all, or at least respected by most. I would say that Henrik was one of the few. Rangers fans hated Bellamy not because he was a thug, but because he was amazing and they wished they had him.
I will accept your point about the possibility of a run in between Lennon and Bellamy, however I think that to not sign a player just in case would be crazy.

Like other posters have said its not that you dont want him here that is in question, it is the reasons behind it. It seems that you are willing to forego a title win rather than sign a quality player because you perceive his public image to be a threat to the club.. you have no evidence to prove that this would happen. Football is about calculated risks, and I think Bellamy is good enough to take a shot on.

 

So you don't wont him here based oh hearsay? From what i gather Lennon and Bellamy got on well at his time at the club. And im sure Lennon would would make it clear to Bellamy that he is the boss before he would sign.

You asked me, and I gave you my honest opinion. But, I really doubt we would lose a title due to lack of goals. It's the defense that wins titles. Your question was hypothetical anyway. So relax. I want the title here, we will probably get it, and Bellamy won't be here.

It's not the jealousy, not in every case. Rooney is impulsive, arrogant, not very bright, and that's why he is hated. The same view I hold of Bellamy. Andy Goram-I've heard people say he was good. But they hated him. Because he was mad, a Hun to the core, who has evidence of supporting anti-Catholic movements all over his house. A certified schizophrenic. Nobody normal would like him.

Last thing on this lads ,but one question to Naka Fan,,,what has Bellamy done that so bad that you dont want him near Celtic ,taking into account that we have had Hartson who booted Berkovic for 6 ,Boruc nearly strangled Naylor but you say Bellamy attacked Rijse with a golf club ,,,so is that it ,,,whats the real reason behind this and mind youve set the tone by saying if Bellamy was at Celtic you would rather Celtic finished 2nd because of that thug playing for us.

I do think something is happening. I believe that PL is working hard to bring in that blue chip player.

I'm afraid Bellamy will cause discord in our dressing room, maybe even repeat the Riise incident. Tarnish the club's name. I want harmony and unity in the team, to have every player trust every each of his teammates. And with Bellamy, that is put at a risk. Rachaelink mentioned ˝calculated risks˝ Well, when you calculate, you realize some risks aren't worth it. For me, this is one of those, and if I were Lennon, I would not sign Bellamy.

 

I cant see any reason bellamy would pick us over spurs.

He can play under a great manager in redknapp, play CL football, get a higher wage and stay in the EPL every week, plus he'd closer to home which is important to him.
We got NONE of that and things have changed alot since 04/05, for the worse.

 

Every player we sign could have those risks.

 

No offence, but it is completely ridicolous to cast out player of this quality based on "keeping harmony". What do we know about how the players get on, they could all completely hate each other for all we know, your reasoning is awful. Trust me, as a Celtic fan, youu want Bellemy
