Champions League with Spurs or the SPL with Celtic on less wages.

    You do the math.

i was at the game we beat the scum when he scored and we thought we'd won the league.....and we had a better team then...but we didn't win the league!!! he is a good player, but not one that you could associate with any trophy winning side.....look at his record.Umpteen good sides......how many medals?Common denominator? We need a TEAM...no prima donnas up for the adulation.

spurs are in direct competition with man city for the top 4 in the epl whos to say that they will want to sell bellamy to spurs. you never know man city might prefer to loan him or sell him to us so he doesnt come back to haunt them in the coming season. its not like man city are desperate to get rid of him to get money in.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon looking to make loan deal for Manchester City's Craig Bellamy this summer - report

Neil Lennon is set to make an ambitious effort to bring Manchester City winger Craig Bellamy to Celtic for a second loan spell with the club.

The new Celtic manager has begun negotiations to bring the Wales international, who won the hearts of the Parkhead supporters in his previous run with the Scottish club in 2005.

The SPL side believes that they can bring Bellamy to Celtic with a similar offer to the one that led Tottenham striker Robbie Keane to be loaned out to the Bhoys last season, according to The Mirror.

City will be looking for Bellamy’s new team to fund some of the Welshman’s salary next season, and Celtic could oblige after a season in which they did not win any silverware.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is also very interested in Bellamy, as he is still looking to strengthen his squad ahead of Spurs’ Champions League campaign.

Bellamy would favor a move to Spurs over one to Celtic due to the prospect of Champions League football.

The arrival of winger David Silva at City from Valencia this summer put the Welshman’s future with the Eastlands club in serious doubt.

City are expected to decide whether or not to keep Bellamy next week as manager Roberto Mancini will be forced to cut his roster down to 25 players for the Premier League season.

City won't sell him to a direct competitor in the pl, why sell or loan to spurs when he could be the one that causes spurs to come 4th again and city 5th, most clubs with the right money offered would sell to spurs, but this is man city we are talking about, no ordinary club in terms of finances, lightyears ahead of abramovich with their hundreds of billions loaning him to us is nothing for them. Yet apart from that it is still a bit farfetched but one can hope.

no, no, no, no, NOOOOOOOOOOO....he is definitely NOT coming to celtic! maybe if lawell had put his hand in his pocket and got mark hughes in as manager instead of goin with the cheap option then we would have had a chance, but he didn't, so he isn't coming. 99% sure he will be at fulham on loan before the end of the month. hate to say it cos the guy was a * when he came here before, but it just won't happen

You clearly know absolutely nothing... You think Lawell is going to fund the new managers wages when he earns about 100k a year?

i didn't mean that lawell would literally fund his wages...i meant that he should use some of the money that he has made us in the past few years through cutting the wage budget, exploring new markets in asia, some player sales etc, to go out and get us a proven top quality manager who said he would come...but instead he went for someone who was a top player but has no experience in buying players or managing a team at any sort of high level, just because he was cheap and would appease some 'celtic-minded' fans
