    There is no player in the current squad capable of being Captain. The Best candidate for me at the moment is Jos but not seen enough of him yet.

    the role of captain aint that important. the payers will be told what to do and will be inspired by lenny, who can shout loud enough.

    The role of a captain is very important.

    You need a leader on the pitch,someone to lead the way when the team is getting beat,someone to give you a boot up the hole when you are not pulling your weight,someone to lead by example on the pitch.

    All successful teams have an inspirational captain.

    Celtic do not have such a captain.

    There should be 11 Captains on the pitch every week. Unfortunatley, we have very few individuals able to take command of any given situation. The only long-term possibility in our present squad, however, looks like Jos Hooiveld - which is a sad state of affairs, given how we've never really seen him play.

    And you know, who says the club captain has to be in the squad every week? Even if Brown has to keep the captaincy itself, why does that mean he has to play every game?

    I dont think we have a real inspirational captain in the sqaud at the moment:54:! I do agree that Jos looks like he could be a captain. Not all captains have to be the loudest look at Jackie Mac i thought he was a good skipper, although he did have other leaders around him.

    whats he done wrong, i personally blame mobray for last season not brown, he was chucked in as captain last season with a deflated team and a * manager, so yeh he deserves more then one game, ffs imagine if we have been this judgemental with larsson :rolleyes:
