Time to face facts

All we are doing is filtering money down the drain in the 4 years and that counts with Strachan, whether it's 1 or 2 million signed players and more, when you add them all up they count, so don't say it is all we can afford, if you buy Quality not quantity it will pay you back, 2 good players instead of 9 or 10 * ones, adds up all the time.

Just because it has money does not mean it has quality. We took the best manager from that league in Mowbray and look what happened.

My point is that we should be aiming higher and buying far better quality for similar prices from abroad.

 

maybe not at the moment for CL. europa leage would suit us well i think. but to say we are not able anymore is a bit harsh.

what did anyone think of henrik against hibs in his first game? we,ve only got money to be speculative and hope folk like hooper work out. give the lads a chance . thats why people are so negative about brown, sammy. they,ve had big games and time to prove themselves. i agree a couple of quality sighnings should be made. but the wage earners who are,nt producing have to go first.

 

its not that we lost,its the way we lost.i thought braga were ok at best,i expected them to be much better,but then i thought we would have been much better,in fact i dont think wee could have been much worse,i thought it was a total disgrace of a performace by nearly 9 international players.we wont be in the europa m8 if we lose we are out of europe.

 

exactly m8,if we had kept our half decent players bought like 1 quality player for cb,cm,striker then you have got the base of a team.the board should have said to the fans we will spend big 1 season and then maybe not sign anyone for a couple of seasons unless we got a gem cheap or a promising youngster,by spending big i mean maybe 25 mill that would get you 4 quality players maybe 5 i think most fans would take this.instead we spend 10 million a season on 7 players at 1to2million that are no better than we have.

Better quality players who are willing to come to the Spl tend to want more money as compo for playing in the scotland both MON and GS have aluded to that fact infact agents demand it look at leadly do you think he would have been erning the same money in England? or do you think that he came to our club due to the prospects of CL footy???

 

I agree with most of what u say mate, but i don't think TM would have ever turned it round. lets hope NL can, The board have gave a man with no real experience the celtic managers job so Lennon is learning as he goes. there might be some mistakes made in the season ahead but lets all hope that we bring home the spl title come may

 

the sad factor is that our aim, and has been for the last few years is to make it to the last 16. Thats where the money is, because winning it is out the window.i also think that the best manager in the world would also need more time than lennys had to turn the fortunes of the team around. Also, the state rangers are in, it allows a great opportunity to really push for the league title, really give it a go, and not just go through the motions again. Id like to see how well we'll play in a few weeks and wether or not were able to have a good crack at the europa league, because we really should be.if not then its a sad state of affairs.
