Did anyon e think the ball/pitch looked a bit funny to play with/on. Seemed like the grass was more astroturf and the ball was a bit of an old school brick?!

Anyone think that Forrest looked more livley and contributed more in the 15 mins he was on compared to others ie, brown, dave(who isnt up to it) , juarez, ledley, who played the full match, also lennon has been chasing hooper from day 1 and its taken this long to get him n then isnt even on the bench. :38:

moscow last year. 2nd rd cl qualifier. came on as a sub i think with 10 mins to go playing up top by himself and scored. good as a sub. not a tip of the spear striker from the start

bit much to ask of the guy that just awarded a * handball. but yes, should have been disallowed.

Know what you're saying, but it's not the lone strikers duty to track back. So imo Sammy should not be played as the lone striker as he does like to pull back or wide.

If he isn't getting the ball, he will drop back to try and get it, get involved. Often makes it harder because he has to face all of the defenders and maybe some midfielders but its worth it if we get a good move out of it. On one occasion i thought he could have played a 1-2 with Cha and the RB would have been in and through, but it didnae happen

True. As a sub he is 95% usually good, but from start to finish, well tonight was evidence he is no use. He IS a good player but for me not as a lone striker and he is not a 90 minute player.....reminds me a bit of Novo

Lost of negative stuff being said here in the heat of the moment I am guessing. Don't get me wrong it was one of the worst games I have watched as A Celtic fan.

Too many new players, players out of position or playing an unfamiliar position. Thus leading to a very poor TEAM(I use this very loosely) performance. Hopefully we can turn it around in the next leg as tbh I don't think they were all that great. 1 soft pen and a poor piece of keeping.

Cmon Lenny get them sorted for next week. :50:

SPL is our priority CL has just come to soon to a team being rebuilt.

Is there a single person in here that remembers Artmedia? Our worst performance in Europe ever, first competitive match for a new manager and some new faces? Followed by the best success we have ever had in Europe by getting to the last 16 2 years running? Followed by 3 in a row?

Is there anyone here that remembers our form in Europe away from home with every manager we have ever had?

Some people here have to get a grip of themselves. Artmedias * fell in on the second leg and we almost came away with the right result, this might happen again. Lennon might win us 3 in a row and get to the last 16 next year.

Why are the so called 'Celtic Faithful' not being very faithful. Your all so * fickle it's unbelievable.

We deserve nothing for a bunch of fans that show no faith or any kind of realism.

I for one am keeping the faith. Good luck in the next match Lenny, even if we lose it's another run out to get us ready for the real meat and veg of our club, which is winning the SPL back.

he doesn't get the ball because his fitba IQ is single digits. he doesn't make good runs. doesn't get himself in positions where he anticipates the play to be. he waits for the play to come to him. characteristics of an inconsistent striker. he loses confidence because he waits for favorable circumstances instead of taking the game by the scruff and making things happen. that doesn't mean holding onto the ball forever while trying to skin 7 players on your way to the keeper. it means, getting yourself in a position to recieve the ball and making the most of the chances you get. he had chances today and as usual his first touch was abysmal. he wakes up in the morning offside, no awareness of his location on the pitch vs. the defenders, easier to catch on an offside trap than scott mcdonald, and that's saying something. he's not good enough. waiting around for the magical play he makes when we're already up 3-0 on Falkirk isn't reason enough to keep him around. he comes up small in big moments. saying the whole team played badly isn't an excuse for sammy doing his usual pish performance. it's enough

Good effort :50: A wouldn't say it was everyone. I for one, am disappointed but fully realise that things take time and loads of variables cost us tonight including ones which we could have been more in control of. But equally the team deserve nothing regardless of Braga's ability if we don't make efforts to win. Fair enough if their just better than us- but their not. Goodness knows it must have been a poor season for Porto and Sporting if they were second.

Zaluska-* terrible how did he get beat from that distance?
Cha-constantly out of position, at fault for the second goal, decided to duck out of the way instead of clear.
Hooiveld-decent effort, best of a bad bunch but his distribution was awful
    Loovens-cut down anything that moved
Mulgrew-awful, hit aimless long balls all night
    Maloney-went hiding, was entirely anonymous
    Ledley-did he even play?
Juarez-lost the ball far to often probably not match fit
Brown-probably the worst player on the pitch, ran around like a headless chicken
Ki-lost the ball in crucial situations, far to weak
Sammy-spent half the game on the ground, isnt strong enough to play as a central striker
lennon-sent out a team that looked like it had no plan, didnt make substitutions quick enough

A truly terrible effort from everyone involved, it can only get better

It baffles me how players that are on ridiculous amounts of money cant make a simple 5-10 yard pass its embarrassing :31:

Still i believe we can do it next week CMON THE HOOPS
