    I meant Hamilton sorry,

I dont see any talent in him at all, hes too small to do anything, he hasnt got pace, shooting is poor, dribbling is poor, passing aint very good, overall not very good, not to mention he throws his arms around like a little girl

Probably the best way to go for both McGowan and Celtic. I wonder at this point at 22 whether he will ever made the grade at Celtic. But sending him out for a season long loan where he will play a lot at St Mirren will tell us where he is at and whether he has a long term future at the club.

I hope Paul McGowan does really well at St. Mirren but I don't think he will become a first team player at Celtic.Still a good enough player and I think he could be a first team player at a club like St. Mirren or similar.

Glad to hear this I really am. I don't think McGowan is ever going to make it with us. If he does well at St Mirren then maybe they will make his deal permanent.

I went off McGowan ever since the day he tried to head * a Celtic fan outside Parkhead after the St Mirren fiasco that got Mowbray his jotters.

Any Celtic player that tries to head * a Celtic fan imo is a friggin nutjob.:38:

win-win situation although I do not see quite enough attributes in the guy to think he will make it. Nice touch, neat and tidy etc but he has no pace or power.

McGowan will never cut it at Celtic. Hopefully this season on loan at St.Mirren will give him the appetite for first team football and he can move on permanently next summer.

with us having 8 strikers in our "first team" this is a good deal. He is looking like a promising player.

When he was at Hamilton he was only 19 or so and got a good write up every monday morning in the papers. This way if he goes to St Mirren n he's awful we have nothing to lose if he plays well then we get him back next season.
