    Don't think this is the idea for us mate, it should be bring them in get 2 maybe 3 years from them and sell them on for a good profit(this is how lots of other clubs are doing it)

    Outstanding performance tonight from Hoops. Really worked hard and held the ball up. Good link up play especially in the final 20 minutes or so and what a superb finish on his goal. Could care less whether he gets called up for England or not I just hope he is playing in a Celtic shirt for a few years yet. If he were to stay long term he really has the ability to become a Celtic great.

    And a lot of credit is deserved by Neil and his coaching staff for the progression Hooper has made since arriving from scunthorpe to putting on a performance like that tonight in the champion's league is a big jump in terms of class of opponents that he faces. :50:

    Absolutely brilliant tonight. Best I've ever seen him play for the hoops, long may it continue. 60 goals in 99 games is a phenomenal record. Get him signed up on a new contract ASAP and let the vultures pay big bucks if/when he decides he wants to go
