i think lenny is just trying to buoy broony up a bit, broony cant really tell if he;s had a good game or not, he's thick as, but i think lenny is trying to encourage him because he's seen what he can play like, if he can play like he did in the preseason, i think we'll be good with him, but sadly, he wont play like that

this is obvious that this is broony's last chance...

this thread is about gary hooper...

gary has scored 2 in 2, he's much faster than skippy, and seems to be a bit smarter too, hopefully he will have a better attitude than him, time will only tell

but to jump on him now and call him *? no sense, no point, no reason, just stop, remember we were crying out for a poacher? we got rassa, too slow you say, now we have hooper, still too slow?
    * sake we'll need ussain bolt to satisfy some of you

Tap ins are only tap ins if you have players getting into the right positions. There's been way too many times over the last few years when we haven't had someone in the right position.

Really can't get my head around the claims that he is slower than Skippy.

I thought Brown was good last night. Full of energy. He certainly played better than Ledley.

Hooper - another goal, good movement, good pace. He will do well in spl once he finds his feet and understanding with another front man

I'm curious what you all think of him. Do you think he has done well so far? Can you see him getting even better etc?

Personally he's my favourite celtic player at the moment even though he is english. He's a goal scorer with a good first touch and plays intelligently, he's been a little unlucky with injuries otherwise his goal count would be a lot closer to Millers.

    Agree/Disagree?

    /Thread.

To clarify for some idiots in the thread, i have nothing against the english it was meant to be taken in jest but i guess some people have to try and look cool on the internet.

He is quality! our best striker and fair play to our scouts and management for bringing Hooper here. He's my favourite player aswell, he's as reliable can always count on him to deliver! intelligent outside the box and knows when to make the run! (I never find myself shouting "Get yourself in the box Gary!!" like i do with other players)

great attitude aswell you can see he loves it here!

My favourite Celtic player right now too! Just be interesting to see how long we can hold on to him if he's stays in such good form.

It shouldnt make a difference where he is from.

I do think hooper looks like a very good striker and he's only 22 , so he could still get even better
