What a game of football that was, my best friend who was brought up a rangers fan who turned to us in that season! still a celt to this day!!!

Says someting happened to him during that season the highs and lows getting to seville, he was never a true blue really had a few gers tops and pushed on him from his family/schools now he is mr celtic never got the green and white off his back. he said the spirit and team, fans emotions got him on board, knowing it was "wrong" but couldnt fight it. family were gutted

that season was one to remember! even though we got beat it was epic

 

agree mate, we won heehaw but being a young support who was in sevielle and then rugby park to see the bhoys il never forget. wouldnt replace the memories for the world

great day so proud to be a tim that day never watched the game since i normally dont like over and over because we only sing it when we are getting beat but that day after the game i sang it with all my heart it was just the right song for that time ..............our day will come

Theres my few of me and my da at the game . We also had a spare ticket and ened up giving it to my cuz for nothing after getting tortured to sell it for over a grand by a few people who new we had it

 

Me at charlie and the bhoys the day before the game singing the fields of athenry at the top of my voice. This pic was on the front of the daily seville newspaper on the day of the game and was used in the celtic view and match programs to promote the road to seville book and dvd. My wee 5 mins of fame
