Post-Match Man utd

Samaras was outstanding.

 

Only caught the second half but despite the result, if we play like that with a bit more sharpness infront of goal, I feel confident we'll win the league fairly easily. For a pre-season game we look pretty fit aswell!

 

samaras was immense, shown that he should still be here, he plays best in midfield, i have always said that. brown also did quite well

we do need a better striker

decent game of football, some good passing football. the koreans did allright when they came on

maloney had a decent game

it clearly shows our need for centre backs, neither o'dea or rogne looked like they knew what was going on

3-1 was an unfair result

 

although we were beat by a side that is possibly the most luckiest team in the world i was very happy with our performance there tonight especially 2nd half.. samaras was unreal but that will probably be his best performance of the season, mulgrew was good, ledley was good, fortune was good and cha da rui is a flying machine..

all the new signings impressed me, heres hoping for a few more good signings and a season to remember.. hail hail.. ( we do need at least 2 new centre backs and a goal scoring striker though)..

 

Cha du ri was a bullet, just shot onto my screen and heaved it away when required or to cross.

Feel like I lost a fiver and found a five pence. I would sell Fortune, as he is never a hitman and won't score enough goals for us. And get big Ramis in.

Centre back is a probem. maybe we should try big Jeff Thompson again.

not bad tbh ,thought mulgrew coped much better 2nd half and we deserved a draw,and forrest and rogne got 90 mins which is good

 

Pleased with that showing.

Samaras = Outstanding.
Maloney - Very sharp and hungry in the 1st half.
Cha - Looked solid, and is fast as *.
Mulgrew - Good going forward.
Ledley - Looks promising, let's give him more of the ball.
Zaluska - Made two absolutely first-class saves.

We need to sort out a central defensive partnership, but we knew that already.

Overall we were unlucky to lose, very heartening.

Positive - Cha brilliant, Mulgrew good going forward and great delivery, Brown did well, Samaras really was exceptional when he came on and gave Lenny something to think about.

Negative - Central defence as much of a shambles as ever. First 2 goals were pathetic. Ledley pretty anonymous.

 

Negatives- We need better central defenders, we need a goalscorer, possibly a goalkeeper

Positives- Everyone had a good game except from Darren O'Dear, Cha looks promising, Ledley looks good aswell as Mulgrew, Zal is ok , some good saves

Ratings: Everybody has between 7-9 for me , O'Dear hes 4

 

totally agree samaras , cha du ri , ledley and mulgrew were awesome and i never thought i would say samaras and awesome together in the same sentence is this us finally getting the good days of big sammy

 

* off with the score....i hate getting beat,doesn't matter if it's a friendly or not.
Some positives are to be had from the game but i really wanted tae pump them.

samaras was brilliant as was maloney and ledley the only downside was the defense it looked all over the place at times.. lennon needs a new centre back and quickly... all in all i think we played well tonight.. feels like a victory some great performances. i have praised samaras all along the 1 he skinned fletcher was brilliant!

 

if fortune ever learns to make the right decisions he will be an asset.
i would sit him down tomorrow and show him where hes going wrong.
young daz is never going to have the pace, and hes replaced caldwell as
calamity and tyo all you sammy and aiden knockers where is the invention going to come from?

 

Thought Samaras gave us some much need energy in the team when he came on, Cha Du Ri looks alot faster than I first thought, he`s lightning! Also looked to get forward which is good. In the end class shone through with Berbatov running the show For United. But all in all promising.

 

bear in mind tho that neither of the centre backs will be frst team next year,and rogne looks a prospect

o'dea was poor but nothing changes there he makes the sam emistakes as mcmanus was making hes like a clone,lol
